You act as if I havent been replying to you. I replied at 6am.

Anyway, I accepted Pecota's counter offer of his 1st, 2nd in 2013 plus Michael Brantley for Josh Hamilton.

Fwiw. I think Pecota and I swapped 2nd round picks im a draft trade last year. So that 2nd would be mime.

Sorry, I had meant I hadn't heard a reply on the Brantley offer, our schedules just didn't sync up.

But yeah, counter is confirmed. I had sent that offer at 8:04am this morning, which is before the official 8:46am time the trade would have been finalized.

I'd like to request a commissioner's ruling to confirm that this trade is legal under league rules.

Crap, I forgot about this. Yes, that's correct, Coff feel free to factor this into your final decision, obv.

Also, does the 48 hour counter-offer window restart if one is accepted? This happened recently, but I can't remember the ruling on that, don't have time to look it right now, sorry.

Would it help if I made it my 2014 2nd round pick? That'd be back up at the top of the round cause we do reverse snake, right?

Another thing for the commish: can I make a late change to the trade like this and offer a different draft pick?

No the draft order is the standings in reverse, isnt it?

I just know if you finish near the top of the standings, your 1st rounder will be near the bottom, then it flips so your second rounder is near the top of that round.

I am very confused right now.

My offer is better unless you really want Michael Brantley (the guy that has been on waivers most of the year), because my 2nd rounder is gonna be like 10 picks earlier.

Other than that I have no idea whats going on.

I just offered to ship my 2014 2nd round pick (which likely be near the top of that round, making it a better pick) in place of my 2013 2nd round pick (which I had swapped with danvh, meaning it is toward the end of the 2nd round).

Also, Texas is off today, so no one is losing any points if it takes a little while for coff and the commissioners to make their decisions.

Also since I now realize Hamilton doesn't even play today I think as long as we get it sorted in time for tomorrow nothing changes. That is if we go w/ the original offer. Hopefully Ruggiano crushes today!

Pecota, I would prefer the higher draft picks. I appreciate your offer and if the 2nd round pick was yours and not Danvh's pick then I would have went your way. Sorry but that 2nd rd pick is the dealbreaker, I am going to stick with Another_Rack's offer.

Sorry for the confusion.

Rack, hit me up about closers.

Yeah lol.

Does anyone know where traded picks are tracked in the spreadsheet? I am pretty sure Karak has mine next year but short of searching the thread I don't have a good way to find it.

Also would help keep Pecota honest next time ldo.

Not a fan of the implication there.

I agree we should track all the draft pick transactions online.

I realize it was an honest mistake, sorry if that wasn't clear.

I didn't think trading picks more than a year ahead was allowed.

Yes, it's been done a few times in the past too, though I know you weren't in the league. Definitely no rule against it though. As a reminder, you can also trade salary slated for future years.

Speaking of picks, I posted all the ones I could find in the thread in the "2012 Trades/Notes" tab on the main google spreadsheet page. Link here. Please check it and post any deals that may have been overlooked.
