A few of my leagues we've considered switching from h2h format to roto (which I would not mind, of course), but many of the owners see h2h as more exciting week-to-week, and claim that people lose interest in roto faster.

ummm i was speaking only for baseball

h2h is fine for hockey and football, but becase baseball's season is so much longer and the sample size is so much larger roto is a better format that rewards skilled owners more than h2h.

absolutely unreal how bad i've run this season

the stat line of the team i'm playing against this week thus far: 20 runs, 9 homers, 26 rbi, 3 steals, .509 avg

that's fair

and for additional salt in the wounds he has 5 pitchers today meaning he has 5 on sunday, virtually locking 2 volume pitching categories on top of all the hitting categories i have no chance in giving me a guaranteed loss by the middle of tuesday.

I've been on the positive side of variance in my one head-to-head league... I'm running away with the regular season win with the 3rd best team. (It has holds as a category, and Tyler Clippard and Luke Gregorsen owned in the first couple months.)

yea last week i was #1 in 3 categories and #2 in the other 7 (out of 12 people)

ended up 3-7, no more h2h next year

also how do you make your players not hit solo HRs? this week: 7 HRs, 7 RBIs

June and July have not been good to me. I won 9 of the first 10 weeks in my h2h league, and have lost six straight weeks. I peaked with an 18.5 game lead, now I'm holding on to a 3.5 game lead for first.

I was going to brag about having the foresight to add Drew Storen at 6:30 tonight until I realized Capps is still going to be closing. I was already well ahead of pace on the transaction limit. Sigh.
