that's just me though.

you should snap luck 1st overall in a 2QB league and neeeeeeeeever even debate about it IMO.

QB is insanely valuable in that format. Rawrs said it best when he told me Superflex is just called that since it's 2QB for hustlers.

12 team, ppr, 2 wr 2 rb flex. I think it's pretty even but I'm pretty high on both Landry and agholor in ppr format. Especially Landry early in the season while Parker comes back from injury and works himself into the primary receiver

I have Hopkins Landry and agholor as the flex right now which I can dominate ppr. Charles and Murray as well

That said Evans is obviously elite. Was trying to gauge how fair it would be and how much it could help me

who would be your flex if you trade landry + agholor? generally if you can 2 for 1 to get a better player that's the better move, but if the options are starting landry/agholor or evan/scrub type backup guy then you might be better served standing pat

edit: @eltbus

Yeah therein kinda lies the problem and is why I canceled initially

Bench is royal, t Coleman, Cruz, Lockett, Dwayne Allen, McFadden and d Robinson

I think you guys are overestimating how early you need to take 2 QBs in an 8 team 2 QB. Just look at tiers just like every other position & make sure you end up with at least 3 & prob 4 or 5 depending on bench size.

That being said, yeah, still take Luck 1st.

yeah i might stand pat for now. someone on your bench could emerge as a flex option, but i wouldnt feel great about starting any of them weeks 1-3

Devonta Freeman is hurt so you could get away with starting Coleman early. That said, I'm less inclined to make that deal in a PPR league because I agree with you that it boosts those two guys' values specifically.

If you can flex a QB, I'd be much more inclined to take a QB first than an RB. But it also depends on the scoring, and I'm not big on taking an rb first anyway.

Here's the results of my draft today. It's with a bunch of co-workers so you'll see some pretty lol-worthy selections in there (one guy has 3 QBs / 3 TEs lmao). I'm the team that picked last. Thoughts? I thought I did well but I think my team lacks some explosiveness, especially at reciever. I'm really questioning my Edelman selection for that reason. I probably should've taken a guy with bigger upside like Andre Johnson or Brandon Marshall. I think I got a little too attached to the 4for4 rankings that I paid for and had tunnel vision on that pick. Overall though I think I got good value on most of my picks and have solid depth at RB / WR.

Wrong thread, no scoring format, no roster settings.

I'd think that your scoring system here would be particularly relevant to the Edelman vs AJ thing. Certainly PPR helps Edelman's case.

I like the first half of your draft, but a lot of your depth guys are on my don't draft list. Guess it's all very speculative at that point though, and not like you blew any key early picks.

edit: I guess it's standard based on how the picks did go

Whoops, meant to include that stuff. Standard scoring, 1 QB / 2 RB / 2 WR / Flex / DST / K / 7 bench spots.

Didn't realize there was a more appropriate thread either, my bad. I'll find it and post it there.

so i got 9th in this 16 man draft. Just found out its .5ppr. Should this change my gameplan of just mass acquiring RB's? debating on going elite WR in 1st and *then* stacking RB's.

16 man draft? Wow that's the most I've ever heard of. I wouldn't overthink it. Take the BPA. I'd also have to think that getting the 16th best QB is painful. I wouldn't let one go past the 11th-12th.

Just discount some of those Woodhead type guys that lose a fair bit of value in .5 ppr

I was trying to post a new thread but someone directed me to post this here. Anyway, regarding FF drafting, I was #5 in a league and I sure, made a very controversial pick taking Aaron Rodgers over Le'veon Bell. Ninety percent may disagree with this strategy HOWEVER, I was faced with 14 games of Le'veon Bell or a full season of Aaron Rodgers and couldn't resist getting the best player in the draft. Yes a QB in later rounds will still put up points while RB's in those same rounds will be harder find. My concern is that it seems to me that EVERY year, an early pick RB goes down for a significant amount of time, sometimes, the WHOLE SEASON and to me that is devastating and will by itself, knock you out of playoff contention. A QB does not go down nearly as often so it is a much safer pick IMO. Thoughts?

You've discovered a new strategy obviously, definitely best to draft the 2nd best qb #5 overall.

Nobody is going to like it here but I don't think it's horrible if it's a 6 point passing TD league. Passing on Bell for him is bad though.

I mean, show me a full draft where you take Rodgers and then a rb/wr the first 3 rounds and compare it to a draft where you draft rb/wr/QB (like Peyton, which would even be early for the 3rd) and just see which is better

I'm praying Luck was off the board before him. I mean that's gotta be it.

Anyway this early QB stuff works like 50% of the time. Godgers, Manning and Brees have all royally screwed FF owners every second year or so.

Pretty sure Anquan spells his last name Boldin.

And I don't think Johnson > Edelman necessarily. Ppr Edelman is clearly ahead of Johnson.
