I feel like I've missed out on opportunities to take Bell at good value

Our long-standing 1.25 PPR league is going to keep 2 players starting next year.

We included an IR spot this year. All things being equal, stashing Nelson > Benjamin ? I'm not sure either one would be kept in 2016, but trying to keep options open.

If this were a true Dynasty league then Benjamin might be the better choice?

Benjamin is probably a better choice either way, and likely possesses more trade value going into next year

disagee on the joique and lions rbbc stuff. maybe im drinking the kool aid but count me in on the abdullah hype. joique hasnt looked completely healthy in forever, hasnt practiced yet and theres certainly no guarantee hes ready to go for week 1. the knee and achillies surgeries scare me no matter how minor he claims they are or how ready he claims he will be for the regular season. abdullah looks explosive and i feel like if he gets the first crack at the job theres a good chance he takes it over and doesnt give it back. it does kinda make you feel like a fish to be in on the shiny new rookie rbs with all the bad fantasy owners but i feel like the hype on this kid is warranted.

Right now, it truly is up in the air. But Bell will be taking the carries early on, and I expect him to be ready week 1. The major problem Abdullah is having right now, is how good Zenner is looking. They really like him, and he seems a lock for the roster. Riddick is still in the mix, with who knows what role.
What I expect, is similar to last year, where Bell/Bush were the 2 RB's, 1 more of the rusher, other is more of the receiver, and this year seems like Bell/Riddick or Abdullah. I think Abdullah could easily take over for Riddick's job in that slot, but not overtake Bell's. And if Bell is out, Zenner can slide into his role. The fact that they only gave 9 snaps to Abdullah last week, but pushed Zenner up into the 1st team offense vs 1st team defense, and looked very good, is the reason why they're not going to push Abdullah this year imo.

Dynasty, yeah, probably Benjamin, but in a 2 Keeper it's not close. There no scenario where Benjamin is going to be someone you want to keep next year coming off missing a season. Jordy is at least possible.

Oh, unless it's by round drafted. Then both would be keepable.

Just had my first draft 12 team PPR keeper league (L Miller mine) from the six slot. Start 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 RB/WR flex. Almost caught wood when Antonio fell to me. F'ed up taking Kap since he has the same bye as Luck but I'm pleased as I'm pretty high on Kelce this year:

QB- Luck, Kap
RB- Gore, L Miller, Ivory, T Coleman
WR- AB, VJax, Boldin, Decker, funchess, Stevie Johnson
TE- Kelce

K and D who cares

I could see Abdullah taking some of Riddick's plays over the year, but Bell will be the main guy you want.
So the Lions RBBC thing is overblown but you think 3 guys are regularly going to get touches?

Abdullah was a 2nd round pick. They have to give him some touches or look dumb for drafting him.

Zenner is averaging like 7 ypc.

Winn and Riddick are back from last year.

Bell is probably the main guy.

i think its also just worthy to note that DET isnt particularly a running team

604 pass attempts (11th) to 396 rush attempts (25th) last year, and they were 5th in pass attempts to 14th in rush in 2013.

i think abdullah will get his chances, but because of bell's injuries, not because of a necessary surplus of opportunities.

Yea Bell would actually start to find a rhythm at times last year and the Lions would keep chucking the damn football

Injury/recovery concerns plus he wasn't good before he got hurt last year, and ODBJ gonna suck up a lot lot lot of targets.

Damnit, why did Bradford have to play so well? Now I'm not gonna be able to get him for $1

Any chance Reuben Randle overtakes him? Worth a roster spot as wr4/5?

Got invited to a live auction today. When you nominate a player it goes clockwise around the room and you either bid on the player or you decline, if you decline you are out on the player entirely and can't bid on him again at any point.

Sounds mind blowing lol

It's a good idea. Speed things up a lot, IMO.

I had this exact idea when in a live setting and we wanted to draft poker players during a live poker tournament. It was actually pretty fun, and would definitely work for a live auction if you were lacking some tech to do it over the internet etc...

so with my honeymoon and workload this year I'm pretty underprepared for two drafts tonight, but only at qb position. was wondering if anyone had comments on the value qbs, because I somehow never seem to draft one in the first seven rounds this year. always a position player i want more. how does my value list look?

Eli > Stafford > rivers > teddy > palmer > Carr > Dalton (hurt?)

I like teddy the most vs where he is going. anyone else I should feel comfortable drafting? no idea what to make of Bradford, foles, Fitzpatrick. feel like them at qb1 may be dangerous.

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I've never played fantasy sports. So i have no idea how to navigate fan duel or draft kings. Haven't even looked inside. So which one is better for me to sign up for where i won't be lost and very simple to understand? Any help greatly appreciated!

Tanny could arguably go ahead of all of those guys.
