They banned Poker, they banned DFS, and I still place bets on spreads.

I think there is a lesson to be learned somewhere...

What's going to go down today? If it is my last day, I'll officially be down $200.80. That assumes I win my two-day baseball contest. I started playing DK only last November, so I'm pretty sure I've paid at least that much in rake.

Incidentally, I was going to cash in my points for tickets this morning, hoping they would then be converted to cash when I check out, and I see the VIP store not selling tickets....just lighters and assorted junk. Figures.

Ethan was good at DFS. Bad at Jenga. That's right.

Update. DK VIP store is still selling contest tickets. They've just changed the format of the page, making it a bit harder to find the offers.

Did everyone sign Fanduels petition? Are there others like it? The only thing that scares a politician is losing votes.50 million DFS players who vote should have some influence.

Will sites like these be the new DFS? The format is very similar to DFS. That is interesting in itself. And with rakes of 9 or 10 percent, it seems to be a better way to bet on horses than the traditional method which has a much higher rake.

I was probably enjoying playing on StarsDraft the most. Mostly because they had solid overlays and I was a "Gold Tier" because of previous PokerStars grindage.

Huh? Rake is 12.66% on the MM, same as it was last week.

Flatter payout structure is good. They only managed to fill last week because they offered to freeroll a ton of players on their first entry. Would have had a pretty big overlay otherwise.

For full disclosure, it was very close to full before they sent that email, and it filled ~85 minutes before lock.

Yup that's fair. I doubt those emails even if sent really early would make a dent. Just never know how much of the field is actual dollars going into the site. DK was giving out tickets without a deposit to all signups a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, I reckon they still got showered on the week 1 Mil Maker even though it didn't technically overlay for the number of tickets they must have given away. They have plenty of dead weight customers at this point, where acquisition cost > lifetime value.
