Ugh..Started the draft, then a girl came by..I made a decision.. Sadly the only person that got screwed was me by the autodraft..

Well, I have tons of SP, but wow is my offense thin.

A lot of stuff has to go right for anyone to win a league like this imo.


I like my team, but it's not that great. Pretty terrible speed, going to need Davis to swipe like 80 bags for me to get some points in that category. Overdid it on relievers, should have grabbed more SP instead. But my offense could become good if Beltran comes back early and healthy.

I have pretty decent bats, but I have no RP and my SP sux. Defending the title = unlikely.

Sorry about your luck... but since you didnt log out, we got screwed over to the tune of 1:30 per pick. Sucks it didnt work out though.

And I actually like my team. We'll see if my SBs materialize like I hope, and my SPs come through. Last year I spent a lot of mid-round picks on starters like Derek Lowe and Ricky Nolasco (having Reyes and Weeks as a killer MI combo last year only killed my chances), so at least I didn't overspend for my mediocre SPs this time.

7 guys beginning the year getting saves. Frasor won the job. I expect Chris Perez to retain the job pretty much all year (if Wood comes back healthy, he'll be traded midseason to a contender). Jon Rauch is closer#1 of the committee, and Franklin Morales has the closer job for at least the first month of the season, or whenever Street's lingering shoulder problem goes away.

Meh. I never like picking Uggla, but at least in this league I don't get stuck with his average. I had two CI's in the first two rounds and if I let him pass my MI was not going to be pretty. Then again it's still not pretty. And I didn't draft a 3B until R26, oops. Although this is probably a better team than I've drafted in years previous in this league. Should be okay for saves, hopefully Bell gets moved and Adams becomes the man in SD. 4 guys with the job and 1 hopeful incumbent.
