1. Allen
2. Kelce (Diggs and cook off the board)
3. Pacheco

I realize I’m killing myself with playoff matchup variance here

Ended up going D'Andre Swift at 4.

The other Allen owner took Gabe Davis (I can take him also as a player can be picked twice given its 16 teams). I actually like Shakir more than Davis. So the next pick I'd like to go AJ Brown/Devonta Smith, but that's risking getting Davis or Shakir on the way back. I'm comfortable rolling with the Eagles. Think they play at least 2 games and are live against the Cowboys.

I'm not even sure if Gabe will play this weekend. 13 mins ago reported he was DNP today, but it was listed as a walk-through. I'd much rather AJB/Devonta than worry about missing on Davis or Shakir. Especially since you got Swift in the 4th. Like you said, lean into the Eagles at that point.

Boooo! I guess you have the Rams knocking off the Lions? If all the favorites win you need to be concerned with how live they are @SF

Awesome man. Appreciate the feedback. I was able to follow him up with AJB. So now I feel like I almost abandon the Bills even though I have Allen and lean into Chiefs and Eagles from here on out. Not sure if I want to go Shakir next round or Devonta if he lasts. Or if it's time to grab a defense (a couple went already).

Gonna go Devonta next round. I feel like I can wait on Eagles D. So it's either Shakir or Chiefs D after Devonta if available

Did a playoff draft, think it's good, but I'm not used to this format...

QB/2RB/2WR/TE/2Flex/K/DST (no bench)

6 tm .5 ppr. Total points after the super bowl wins (RD in parenthesis), picked 3rd

QB Purdy (3)
RB CMC (1)
RB Pacheco (4)
WR Deebo (2)
WR Rice (5)
TE Ferguson (6) - wanted to get Cooks in the 7th next, but got sniped
Flex Kyren (8)
Flex Kupp (9)
K Moody (10)
DST 49ers (7)

Wasn't sure about Kupp + Kyren, but they were available so late, it felt like it was worth it over someone like Watson that fit my KC stack

Disclaimer I haven't done a playoff draft since ~2017 but Pacheco as the 22nd pick seems sick -- think it's no secret that MIA run defense & BUF run defense (projected next round opponent for KC) are in the slumps...suppose KC plays 3 games and SF plays 3 games...Pacheco could still return more points than CMC.

With a lot of 49ers players as your top picks, I probably would've preferred having late-round picks from another AFC team (instead of the Rams), but hard to say without seeing the full draft board.

Who went 1.01 & 1.02? Josh and Dak? Lamb?

Josh and CD, I was very surprised to have cmc available there

I never do fantasy playoffs, but I would have thought Allen, Cook, Dak, CD, and possibly Diggs and Pollard should all be about top 10 picks. I know Pollard's return has been so bad but the volume is there.

Buffalo and Dallas are most likely to get 2 games in, and probably most likely to get 3+.

Diggs has been pretty pedestrian since about week 8(without looking maybe WR3/4 level) I guess there is a chance he could regain his early season form but probably not worth the risk

I took Pacheco at 8 and Pollard at 17 using this line of thinking.

1rst round
CMC, Allen, LJax, Lamb, Dak, ARSB, Purdy, Pacheco, Diggs, Mahomes, Hill, Deebo

Which Chiefs 2nd wr should we take with our very last pick? Watson? MVS? Toney? James?

Rice taken.

Or would you go with an eagles 3rd WR? Watkins?

The real lotto ticket for Chiefs WR (after Rice obv) would be Hardman - If I had to pick from the 4 you listed I would say Watson

If I'm gambling on a long-shot WR its not gonna be Quez Watkins

I actually thought Watson was taken but wasn’t so just took him with my 2nd to last pick. Maybe I double down on Hardman with the last pick. I’m chiefs and eagles heavy despite having Allen as my qb. Rest of draft just didn’t fall to supporting that but did grab Shakir.

Roster with 1 pick remaining (yes you can have 2 def OR 2 kickers for some reason):

I like Watson ahead of the rest and then MVS/Toney/Hardman basically equal and all ahead of James

Hi all, new to this forum, and not really sure where to correctly ask this...

Quick question regarding taxes. Winnings from Fantasy Football will count as Miscellaneous Income, which is the same as gambling income like poker/slot machines right? And will this allow me to deduct losses from gambling from FF winnings? Does anyone happen to have insight or experience? I'm not a professional gambler, and these won't be classed as business income either.

Thanks!

If you won more than $600 on a site like Underdog, DraftKings, etc., they'll issue a 1099 Miscellaneous for your net winnings. Thus, you would report that amount as other income on Schedule 1, with no additional deductions for any of the buy ins on the respective site from which you received the 1099, since the 1099 nets.

If you had net losses on another site, you can deduct that amount on Schedule A against net winnings.

If you're reporting money won in a league not managed through a platform, you'll report the net winnings from each league as other income on Schedule 1, and then deduct any buy ins lost in leagues where you were losers on Schedule A.

But in order to actually realize the deduction for buy ins lost, you'll need to itemize on Schedule A.

Thanks! Do you know if this may be applicable across different platforms, like Casino poker & Fantasy Football?

No problem! You should report all gambling winnings on Schedule 1 other income, whether reported on a tax form or not, and all gambling losses on Schedule A. It's up to you to perform the correct calculations, and then record the substantiation.

Superusers aren't isolated to poker. Once again, the players sound the alarm.

Nice catch I guess but did they really need a 45min video to say someone was past posting their lineup?

They did not haha. I listened to the whole thing, and it was interesting information, but they could have covered it all in 5 minutes.

With that said, these guys put out video content that generally ranges 30 minutes to 2 hours, so it's just their style. I think part of it was for reputation purposes. They wanted to make sure to show that not only were they not involved, but they were the ones who exposed the cheating, given their sponsorship relationship with NFFC. I hope they break their partnership for the future, as I respect all 3 of those guys. NFFC security clearly cannot be trusted.

Yeah - not mad at them if this is their side hustle but I'm old school and prefer to read my news. I generally skip over any fantasy video articles or podcasts since I have my network 100% locked down to noncontent noise
