In leagues with $100 FAAB, what are your bids for:

-Puka
-Kyren Williams
-BAL Rbs - Hill & Edwards

I wouldn't get too excited about the Baltimore backs. That is screaming out as if it will be a timeshare, that is if they do not go and bring in a Kareem Hunt or other veteran free agent to further muddy the waters. Wouldn't be the slightest bit interested in Williams. Nacua is an interesting one but as I've been on the hype train since May I'm not sure I'm the best person to give a percentage

Yeah, Balt also already elevated Melvin Gordon. Still worth adds in deeper leagues, but I would temper expectations.

I actually think Kyren is worth the add. It’s possible he’s the lead guy over Akers long-term. There were reports of Kyren being in the lead headed into last year, then he broke his foot. He got twice as many snaps as Akers.

The question with Puka is, what does it look like once Kupp returns? But he looks like he might be startable until then. Tutu too. Van ****ing sucks.

All my do not draft list was nearly perfect so far

London, Pitts, Mixon, Najee, Pierce, Dobbins, Dj Moore, Terry, Mike Williams, Lockett, Swift, Kirk, etc

The PROBLEM is all the guys I got no shares of like

Ridley (that ADP!), Aiyuk (that ADP!), Pittman (nooooo), Anthony Richardson (oooof), Chubb, Pollard, Flowers, Jakobi (wtffffff), Puka, (I cry)

My guys I own where I'm already worried:

Akers (fuuuuuuck)
Burks (jesus, thankfully just redraft)
Goedart (eep)

What happened to the BENGALS? lol. That was Wow.

Wouldn't put it past the Rams to end up 1-4 and trade Kupp

The TE 8-15 area should be interesting going forward. JuwanJ looked fine with 5 targets, but that offense feels like its going to be tough to get a lot of looks in going forward. Dallas was clearly targeting Ferguson early and often, but he may have fumbled the opportunity with the drops. Laporta and Musgrave might be legit options. Hayden Hurst likely usable as well as a low stress option for Bryce.

I think he'd be nearly impossible to trade getting all that money till 2026, in that body.

But as a dynasty owner if I thought he could move (he can't), 3 teams I'd most want him to go to and 3 teams I'd least want him to go to

most: Jags, Bills, Chargers

least: Steelers, Titans, Ravens, Pats, Broncos (you got bonus ones)

I really wouldn't want him as a Chief either, I don't think? I'd much rather he remain a Ram

But again, I think as an owner in dynasty, the Ram location is maybe the best one?

It's funny because scouting him ahead of our rookie draft, the big knock was how easy he goes down. Godamn you saw that this Sunday! Kid could/should have had a 3/75/2 stat line lol. 22.5 pts would have made him the TE1!

They have to enroll him with a gynastics instructor and a core specialist, lol. I gotta believe at the NFL level they have the tools to fix that for you.

I'm still excited about Brock Purdy in dynasty. Relative to what he cost you, you gotta be pumped.

Just wanted to get an opinion regarding reliable weekly fantasy rankings. I just did my first week of snake draft contests and drafted using rankings from the Athletic doing a one week trial. I'm just curious as to if there is a reliable source for weekly rankings that also provides projections, but possibly floor and ceiling projections as well.

I know Fantasy Footballers offers rankings and projections. Not sure what else is out there. I believe ETR content is $50 USD per week, but seeing as I only spent $250 on the snake drafts this past weekend, that would not be worth it for me at my buy in level. Thanks

Why are you out on Williams? Everything about the usage says he is the lead guy? Particularly the usage in first half? I guess the one way the usage isnt real is if Akers was being punished for something in the first half and was told he was going to be the backup. I think Akers stinks and Kyren being able to catch balls seems important

Another item of note is that while the snaps ended up 65/35 in favor of Kyren, most of Cam’s usage was in the 2nd half with the team up 2 scores.

The first half snaps were 26/4 in favor of Kyren.

Ultimately, I don’t think either back has a ton of upside, but I think Kyren is the guy you want, not Akers.

Kyren also played on like 90% of the passing downs.

Akers stinks and McVay doesn’t like him. This trend is not new.

I was all in on Justin Herbert having a massive season this year. Took him over Lamar, fields, and burrow. Classic dont panic after week 1 situation, but i am panicking given how much they ran the ball week 1

I guess we shouldn't be super surprised given how Kellen Moore deployed Zeke/Pollard, but I did expect LAC to throw more than they did. Dallas was at the top of neutral pass rate the last couple of seasons. Another problem is that Herbert's aDot was pretty low too, but I think that was partly due to Mia's defense. Funny that you mention Lamar, Fields, and Burrow since Herbert outscored all of them but point taken. Tough week for the elite QBs. Maybe Josh saves them tonight.

Herbert might not have as high of a ceiling as we initially thought, but I do expect the pass rate to increase. Especially since they lost.

Eagles, Pats, Titans, Colts and 49ers neutral pass rates is kind of wow?

I traded away Herbert for Burrow in dynasty. So don't talk to me about bad first weeks lol

Wouldn’t worry about Herbie, they were gashing the Dolphins and prob wanted to try and keep the ball away since the D was getting lit up.

Haven't watched the game, but from where I'm sitting, Akers got 22 carries to Williams' 15 carries (plus two targets), so idk what you mean? I don't disagree Akers sucks, but I don't see this as progressing much beyond a RBBC in a team that is bad and should feel bad which looking at their schedule is going to be passing a LOT because obvious reasons (now maybe . Now if Akers was to get injured yet again, then maybe, but in that situation I think they just move Evans (or someone off the street) into the RBBC instead.

That, and I don't suddenly think "zomg spend faab" just because someone scored twice in week one, it's round about this time that I cashed out on James Robinson in dynasty for the same reason

What are thoughts on WR Kendrick Bourne? Dude had a decent year in 2021 then got handicapped by the Patriots deciding previous DC and failed Lions HC would make a good OC. Got peppered with targets(11) and ended at 6-64-2, obviously we aren't chasing the TDs but 11 targets is still WR1 level of activity - didn't really watch the game so not sure how involved he actually was.

PPR league and my WR1-3 are studly but WR4 is OBJ and nada after that. Holding mostly lotto ticket RBs on my bench but wouldnt mind having a fill-in WR if folks think he has 70-1000-8 in him

FAAB league so would need to bid obv 2RB,3WR,FLEX

I've always liked Bourne but in a moderately shallow league I'd need to have an obvious drop to contemplate spending FAAB
