I've always thought about doing a league like that, didn't know they actually existed
You mind doing a better summary of how it works out, is more or less enjoyable, different strategies, etc etc
Also, anyone have any tips for getting your league active? The DFS industry league I joined has been really frustrating, only joined for the camaraderie of it to try to get to know these other guys better and the league is totally silent
A lot of them know each other very well as demonstrated by super active chat during the draft and then silence on the message boards. Only posts being one guy offering to setup a discord and me commenting that I'd be happy to setup a slack channel instead and both were ignored, I've made a few random posts to try to kick start conversation but other than the occasional lol trade offer the league may as well be dead
I feel any further posting being the only guy doing it will further reinforce I'm an outsider and any complaints would be counter productive
I should have known better given the red flags of needing to replace like half the league but I definitely am a bit salty that nobody is talking (or more likely, they are a bunch of them talking, just privately)
Were my expectations off or is this standard? The only leagues I'm in are ones I've been in over a decade now so there's constant messaging and posting. Possible I'm the one here who's missing perspective.
