meh, it depends a little on some more context. is it a 6pt passing td league? how many WR slots? who else was on his team WR wise? i can definitely find reasons to do that kind of deal, as much as its an overpay. people really like QBs, and robinson hasnt been spectacular or anything
His remaining WRs: Benjamin, Boyd, Callaway, Godwin, Westbrook
So it's a pretty marginal group even for a 12 team league--we have to start 2 and can flex 2 more. He has good RBs but he also has a lot of injuries. I like Boyd and Callaway has dynasty value. Rbs he has Ajayi, Breida, Hines, Lindsay, CMC, LMC, Guice (IR), McKinnon, Adams (Taxi), Perine (Taxi).
It is a 6 td league but there are 18 qbs averaging 20 ppg or more and we only have to start 1. I'm not saying Wentz doesn't have some value, he clearly does. I just think it's an overpay. Like if it was just the picks I wouldn't flinch or even just Robinson--I can understand it. But 2 valuable assets, both of which may have more value than Wentz himself in our league for 1 seems pretty high a price.
The trade is obviously terrible, but you don't veto trades for being bad trades, you veto them for collusion/cheating.
If he had already done a bunch of dumb stuff in relation to FAAB and adding players then you should be targeting him for a trade or two.
Now, if it in turn ruins the league, because this guy decides screw this and quits after the year, well, thats why you get a couple years up front for dynasties or keepers.
So there is a bad player in your league, and you want to make him better? I won't list all of the poker analogies that come to mind, but that doesn't make much sense to me. If you already knew this guy's exploitable tendencies, and haven't been actively look to exploit them yourself, then maybe you are just playing the wrong game type. Best-ball might be more up your alley. It has gained a bunch of popularity in recent years and it eliminates these types of concerns while maintaining the most fun part of the year for most people, the draft.
That's not some league altering trade. I mean even if someone were to get Allen Robinson literally for free... their team isn't getting THAT much better.
Like most trades that people ***** about, you should be upset with yourself for not offering something better, esp knowing that guys QB situation
Mahomes on pace for the first 300 yard game against jac in 15 games. He was always a risk to turn the ball over but he actually looks good to me against an elite pass D.
