Yeah, seems like probably a good deal once Watson gets going.

My team
Qb-Mahomes/Rodgers/Watson

RB-MG3/C.Thompson/Cohen/White/Bredia/

WR-Marvin Jones/Cooper/Galloday/C.Davis/J.Brown/G.allison/J.ross

TE-ASJ

I'm clearly stacked at qb. Theirs two teams in desperate need of a qb and this guy is one of them. Hes starting guys like Dalton/Foles/Keenum. I also see MG3 has some type of minor injury already popping up. I'm loving Galloday but I've also have Jones from the same team.

My plan was to attempt move Rodgers for a stud WR this week. You guys think im selling high on this or selling a title? This guy is in first place and im a contender.

Thanks for any advice!
I think it improves your team some, but with those 3 QBs, I think you can do even better. It's definetly an interesting spot.

Gurley > Melving Gordon. I like Juju> Galloday. Kittles is a nice uptick at TE.

However, Mahomes is in contention for #1 QB this year. In a superflex you should be able to move 1 of your top 2 QBs, for a good RB (Dalvin Cook sort of range) and get a lesser QB back.

I have FAAB and 241 of my 250 left. Do I go big? If so how big? I don't think he's very good but my TE situation blows. Brate won't do anything until or unless Jameis comes back. Even then it's hardly guaranteed. In a blowout, Gates got 2 targets and 0 catches. Gesicki is a rookie TE and he done little so far.

I was thinking of bidding like 24 but is that way too high? Jesse could easily be eclipsed by Vance McDonald but in our PPR scoring system Jesse is the #1 TE right now.

Similarly, I have Sean Lee who is mediocre this year at LBer. I have Bobby Wagner (injured), Reuben Foster (suspension) and Hicks (1 week rental) also at Lber--is Darius Leonard worth going after? He's a rookie, he just had a 18 tackle game and even if he sucks going forward I can stick him on my taxi squad. Is bidding 7 too much for a linebacker a complete waste? I'm an IDP noob and when I went after Warner last week, someone bid like 5 for him. I figure I go with Foster and Wagner/Leonard on a w2w rotation.
Your competition's TE situation is going to decide a lot on your JJ bid. How bad does someone else need one? Because in the absence of desperation, 6% should get him, which is 15. However if someone else needs one, your 24 isn't wrong.

What do we think about AB/Shady for Thomas or Hopkins and DJ? Again, this is a 2-keeper league.

Coming into this week i was starting to shop Rodgers for a stud wr. I actually wasnt concerned with my rbs as much as finding a real #1 wr (we start 3 wr as well). Thing is only a few teams need qbs and actually have what i need.

Last night i offered another owner who's weak at qb Rodgers and Jones for M.Thomas he also has Brown. He declined quickly so not sure how many better trade partners I'm going to find. Seemed like qbs were being slightly undervalued for it being a superflex league.

I do love Mahomes, I ended up with him in 4 of my 5 leagues so could help reduce some variance to trade him(that or reduce my upside cause he looks godly)

MG3 has looked really good so far but hes got a matchup vs the rams this week and is already banged up so. Thanks for the replies and ill be following to see if anyone else has suggestions. Right now im leaning towards taking it. Rare is it to see a offer where im really not sure what to do like this.

I agree with this line.
Ya Gurley > Gordon but it's not unreasonable to see Gordon end up a top 5 back in PPR barring injuries.
Mahomes has #1 upside and Watson you're hoping he can crack the top 12 at this point.
So do the points you gain from Juju + Gurley make up for the gap between Maownes and Watson?
You're screwed for 2 bye weeks unless Wentz gets hurt again. Are there any starting QB's on the wire right now? You've got to have at least some trash starting QB for bye weeks.
I think he's gotta give you a QB that is going to actually be playing when your bye weeks hit to consider it unless you know you can get someone off the wire.

Also maybe other owners don't need QB's now but injuries always come.

It's a tough spot for sure and I don't have tons of experience in 2qb leagues but seems if you have 2 top 5 QB's you can make up for weaker parts of your line up.

Is it 6pt passing TD's?

Re: 2018 Fantasy Football General Thread

Pretty happy with my 2-0 team, but still considering upgrading at RB

Its a keep 5 players at 4 different positions next year, so Im likely going to have a plethora of riches.

1.25 PPR/ return yards/6 pt TDs 2RB/3WR/TE/flex

Mahommes/Stafford
Zeke/Collins/Marshawn/Buck/Alfred
Tyreek/Keenan/Cooks/Golladay/Allison/Pettis
Gronk/Seals-Jones

I'm disgusted with my pick of Collins and would love to see him off my roster. The Mixon owner is hurting at RB :') and I think is willing to trade Mixon for Collins/Lynch and my "first round (6th round)" draft pick next year. Presumably I'd get his "second round" pick.

Snap? and ride out Buck Allen for two weeks?

They may make up the diff between Mahomes and Watson. Maybe Mahomes is just on a really hot start and slows down a bit. If Mahomes is the GOAT and passes for 50+ TDS though then no im not going to make up that diff without a injury hitting Gordon. Thats why i think its a tough spot. Getting Gurley is sick hes the #1 player in the world + JUJU whos looking electric this season. You got to give up the hot new toy who looks like an mvp type player. Do you move the new toy and think he falls to earth or do u hold and try to move Rodgers later for a less godly player then Gurley.

Its 4pt passing Td. Remember its a superflex so on bye weeks i can play a TE/WR/RB/QB at that spot i dont have to play 2 qbs just one qb. Nope the WW has nothing whatsoever at qb. Even some of the rookie backups like Baker are on rosters. We start 1qb 2rbs 3wr 1te 1D superflex.

I for sure have Gordon top 5 at rb(overall really) for ROS. For me its Gurley/Kamara/Gordon/Zeke/Barkley. JUJU i see as a strong WR2 who fits in that 15-18 WR overall range.

I love Golladay and think he has upside and is a fine WR3. Thing is I also have Marvin jones. I actually prefer Golladay to Jones for the ROS thing is having them both on the same team isnt optimal.

I guess i could ask him for Keenum or Dalton instead of Foles. He is also sitting on Diggs/T.Hill at WR. I know hes not going to offer me Hill but would be sweet to figure out how to get Diggs out of the deal. I felt it was a pretty fair offer and didnt want to end talks with me countering for to much but i guess if its close it would make sense to try to squeeze some more out of it.

He's got Hill also? Damn

Does it make sense to look at it from the pov do you have a better chance of beating this guy with your pre trade roster or your post trade roster?

Hes in first place and has a really good team. This trade will improve his starting lineup because he has Keenum/Foles/Dalton at qb. He also wont be missing Kittle he has J.Graham. So yeah the upgrade for him at qb is huge.

Hes really weak at RB2. Sitting on ADP/Ekeler/Lindsay/Murray. He must like the idea of getting the chargers backfield under his control completely for the season.

All that said in general im not going to get to concerned with what this trade does to his team going into just week 3. One injury to a RB1 can cripple any team at this point so i think its best to think about how good it makes u long term.

I'm still kind of torn ive been back and forth all day. If he put Diggs instead of JUJU id of snapped accepted. I dont know maybe im just underrating JUJU hes someone im never on in DFS or standard fantasy.

Yeah and if I'm going to be honest I have missed on a ton of QBs. Foles/Dak come to mind. He has missed some throws tonight but I'm def not ready to right him off yet. It's a new offense and he's still developing. Very young. Lets see if he makes some throws in the second half that look good.

Re: 2018 Fantasy Football General Thread

I gave him the benefit of the doubt due to Fox coaching but outside of the first few drives last game he's looked pretty raw and some of the decisions he made tonight were really poor. But yeah, less than two games in with new offense I guess - schedule coming up is nice so I guess we'll know soon enough

Watched my friend's team take the lead and lose it twice only to eventually take it back for good thanks to Russell's shenanigans at the end of that game. Highly entertaining.

There's a proud tradition of losers at QB for the Bears. It was important that the tradition be maintained.
