Missed this, totally. I'm doing the same with Legatron, you can cue the lol's

Also Engram the TE2 right now waiting on Reed/Ertz to play. With Delanie dead and Brate almost sure to see his numbers halved now, there are what, 8-10 viable TE's left? And in that 8 it's not like Reed is lighting it up.

If you have playoffs on lock, Olsen is a good stash.

Totally agree. Its just one big lotto. I hardly mocked at all this season. My teams are doing well (5-2,5-2,4-3,4-3). Draft doesn't mean so much. The key is staying aware of waiver pickups. Lucking into staying healthy and not running into guys who have monster weeks. In one of my leagues there is a guy who will be 6-1 after this week and his team looks awful. In fact he has scored the least amount of points in the league but has lucked into people having off weeks almost always.

Fantasy football is entertaining but it is hardly science. It's a crap shoot no matter how much you know or think you know.

Don't get me wrong, I definitely think there are edges to be had and I think most of this thread is proof. But the anecdote you provided is what I mean, its just so random, and the edge you can get in all but some dynasty leagues aren't going to be that high

Not counting PHI or WAS kickers, Zuerlein, Succop and Butler were 3/4/5 top kickers this week.

I think I average 2-3 roster moves per week. Your edge in drafting won't be that high but post-draft edges can be pretty big.

im honestly migrating to just being in dynasty leagues. i find ive engrained more of the dynasty rankings in my head, so flipping between redrafts and dynastys just ends up being more trouble than its worth. +1 to rafiki in terms of dynastys requiring more year-round thinking, which i think does help overall though, and less frantic catching up on things right before pre-season starts.

I was in 4 dynasty leagues last year and am now in 13 this year. Way better than re-draft.

They currently rank 1-2-3 overall for season average after this week. I think they'll all comfortably finish top 6. And with kicker variance that's saying a lot.

13?!? i thought the 3 i was in was a good amount. how on earth do you keep track of all of them, between rebuilding teams, draft picks, etc. seems intense

Just have to make sure you get your waiver claims in on Tuesday and lineups set Thursday, Sunday, and Monday. MFL makes managing multiple teams easy. If you like trading dynasty>>>>re-draft.

Bump since I have a couple of hours to decide.

Luckily I didn't trade for Carson Palmer.

Scoring and rest of team? Pretty high on Alshon ROS but if it's PPR I think you only do this if you really need WR help.

I'm 4-2 and in first place because I've outscored second place by more than 100 points. I'm killing it at RB and TE but am hobbled by injuries elsewhere.

My roster:

QB: Luck (O), Tannehill (IR), Brissett, Kizer, Hundley
RB: Fournette, Hunt, Elliott, David Johnson (IR), Kamara, McFadden, Jamaal Williams, Alex Collins, Chris Carson (IR)
WR: Diggs, Parker, Decker, Lee, Agholor, Lockett, Godwin, Josh Reynolds, Conley (O), Gordon (SUS)
TE: Gronkowski, Engram, Brate
Your post illuminates why I'm conflicted. I like Kamara longer term but I need WR help badly, and Jeffrey could be very good ROS and give me a title.

Oh wow, way more complicated than I expected lol. Kamara obv a really nice dynasty piece but your RBs are loaded. I'd probably do it and hate myself a little bit.

This has been pretty much my conclusion too. Particularly the hating myself part as I'm a Saints fan and really like having Kamara to cheer on each week.

in terms of dynasty, is anyone targeting trying to get m bryant these days? what about ty montgomery?

potentially near a buy low? or not worth it?

I don't do any dynasty but it feels like any dynasty owner can make an argument for any player having some value just based on format.

I think Montgomery could be closer to Jeremy Langford status than he is to actually having real long term value.

Got this offer today in a standard 2rb/3wr league

I get:

AJ Green
Joe Mixon (My current rb's are Dmart, Carlos Hyde, and Mike Gillislee)

I send:

DHop
ASJ (I have Gronk)
JAX D (I have MIN D to cover JAX's bye right now, could keep them or just stream pretty easily)

Any help appreciated, seems like it's a value add, but I wasn't really considering moving DHop or JAX D so kind of threw me for a loop. Thoughts?

Good thing I came into tonight with Pryor vs. Agholor in PPR up 6.9 and Pryor hasn't played a snap yet.

Gonna be an annoying sweat.
