McFadden on Waivers

my team
Cousins/Watson
D Martin/McCoy/McCaffrey/Gillislee
Diggs/Pryor Sr/ K Benjamin/ D Adams/ A Cooper/Fuller
Defense
Kicker

Do I drop anyone for him? I dont know. How much of a workhorse can he be? i can see him and Alfmo and another guy start splitting up the work. Simply looking at McFaddens last few years, I personally cant expect that much out of him, not to mention he is getting old/injured, especially for a RB

With your roster I wouldn't. Gillislee if anyone but that situation is murky. If Zeke's suspension stands, which it might not, no one knows at this point who will be the starter. If you had an easy drop he's worth the add but not at the expense of an actual asset.

Make some trades ffs Your team is super deep, but also super light on elite players, with bye weeks and injuries hitting, now is a great time to start consolidating.

100% agree. You can even make a lopsided trade if it means you improve your starters, too many wr2 just to hold them all.

i realize that guys I make offers in my league and they just sit on the block. in four or five years of the league's existence, there have been about as many trades.

2 QB league special as I pour one out, rank in ROS order:

Hundley
Teddy B
Beathard
Fitzpatrick

I'm not breaking the bank, but figure Hundley has way more weapons. Teddy B probably has more upside and I don't know anything about Beathard. Will commit hari kiri before playing Fitz.

Will now be 2-4 after losing 3 in a row, the last 2 scoring 130+ and still losing, what the hell can I get for upgrades here?

Prescott/McCown
McCoy/Howard/Hunt/ADP/Alf Morris
Fitz/DeSean/Kearse/Amendola/Stills/Snead
Derby (streaming)
Titans D (streaming)
Gould

Flip McCoy/Howard for a WR1/Gronk? Morris for a WR3?

When you see a 52-38 final, you gotta just assume both D's went off.

All I need is 1 more point from CJ Anderson. Just 1.

I'm about 5% to get there

Am I being overly optimistic? The target volume he's going to see plus all the garbage time? I'd think we'd see 8/77/1 an awful lot
Stand by this. I got Engram now as the 4th best TE in fantasy, and maybe Hunter Henry needs to be up in that grouping. ASJ working his way up.

says he wants more targets... according to ESPN he's 15/31 which while being half of AB's targets is 10 more than the 3rd receiver. and only 2 below Bell although bell is 27/33.

also 31 targets is tied for 39th in the league

eta- that didnt include today which he had 3 bring the total to 34 targets..

I bet quite a few of those are quick screen passes - they def haven't gone deep to him like they did in 2015, which I think sucks as a steeler fan.

And can be argued that you set his lineup for him. Not fair that sometime gets a freebie due to bye weeks

eh, the variance evens out. one week they sit player's vs you, the next it's vs someone else. If you are going to contact the deadbeats when they fail to start players against your opponents(who u want to lose), are u going to contact them when they forget to fill the roster vs yourself? I guess what I'm saying is, be consistent about it, but personally, I don't have the will to see if the deadbeats are filling their rosters and then contacting them to do so.

4 point lead going into MNF with Brissett vs. Mack. I feel cautiously optimistic. I had Diggs with a 2.5 point deficit going into last week's MNF so not feeling ultra confident. Still mad about ASJ non-TD.

I sent out an email to my work league before week 5 games about Bye Weeks and setting rosters accordingly (in my work league).

In my home league, I shamed owners who started IR guys or other injured players in front of our group of friends.

Varied degrees of success.

I think Martavis Bryant would look tremendous in a 49ers uniform

do it and if it happens more than once kick them from the league

Do you then replace them with someone or just have there be an odd number of teams?

Kick them at the end of the season obviously.

We play from Australia so we have a degree of leniency for late outs etc... that get announced at 2am in the morning our time on Sunday nights, but there is no excuse for players who are either on IR or have byes.

One informal warning if it happens, a second formal warning, and then basically a league ban.

Over the last 6 years of our leagues (we started because of "The League" TV show) we have booted around about 4 or 5 people total, as the league started at 8 people and expanded to the current 12, with personal changing from year to year for different reasons.

yeah obv not immediately but dont let them play next year. as said above you can have some sympathy for gameday inactives but there is zero excuse for byes or IR
