how often do you guys make "dirty" plays? my opponent has Wentz on bye wih no backup, so I grabbed Mccown of waivers leaving him either Brissett or Bortles. Just curious.

Yeah my opponent has a crappy TE this week so I rostered Vernon Davis even though I have Gronk. Will drop tomorrow AM.

It sounds like he's unlikely to play, but if he does he is an almost automatic starter where the other 4 guys seem unlikely to start for me unless an injury to one or more of my starters. Plus at 8-1 I'm a near lock for a playoff bye.

Very few scenarios lead me to playing Lewis or lee, right?

That would be my take as well but I still prefer dropping David Johnson, the chance that he will be back in the fantasy playoffs and that he will perform even as a RB2 are just so low in my eyes... When a coach says "I highly doubt he will play this season", it is just <2% chance imo that he will play and even less that they will feature him as they also have AP now.

The only thing I consider too dirty is grabbing/dropping players to put them on waivers (that would potentially allow you to block 3+ guys). Debated doing that when my opponent had both of his QBs on byes, but ultimately only grabbed the top available QB.

The above only applies to friends leagues, in YPL leagues I would do this if given the opportunity (for example in a baseball league, when playing a guy who streams pitchers in the playoffs, I once was able to put nearly every possible SP on waivers so he had almost no starts that week).

Tom's defending champion team has 1 win and 8 losses.

That basically means every week you are, on average, playing a team WORSE than the team that has only 1 win so far this season.

Run better.

I do this with my friends only. Have to be careful to avoid a situation like Ashley mentioned.

I have all 3 non Zeke Dallas RBs and decided to start Vernon Davis in my flex instead of say Morris since I’m the favorite and assume Davis has the highest floor. And I only picked him up to block my opponent and was going to drop him to pick up Eagles defense today.
