my roster:
qb: wilson
wr: green, m thomas, fuller, fitz, thielen
rb: hyde, mckinnon, buck, burkhead, mcfadden, breida
te: asj, reed
i am more than happy to sell high on fuller but seems like i am giving up too much here even getting bell.
also bell/mckinnon/thielen all on bye this week and hogan is hurt so i would end up having to roster someone random off the wire.
thoughts?
I think you have to take this trade, but I also think it's closer than the "omg snap accept" crowd seems to think it is.
In terms of your projected starters, you get a huge boost at RB, but it comes at the expense of BOTH your WR3 (Fuller) and your flex. Depending on your views of Hogan-vs-Thomas, you might also be taking a hit at WR2 (a THIRD starter). I probably value PPR WRs more than most others ITT, but here's how I see it:
Old starters:
WRs: AJG, Thomas, Fuller
RB: Hyde + McKinnon
Flex: one of Fitz/Thielen
New starters:
WRs: AJG, Hogan, one of Fitz/Thielen/Kelvin
RB: Hyde + BELL
Flex: your 2nd best choice of Fitz/Thielen/Kelvin
I think we can all agree on this though:
Bell >>>> KcKinnon
Thomas >= Hogan (similar high-powered offenses, each has similar risks too)
Kelvin << Fuller
