Haha just the other day my buddy said "David Anderson" and I was like "huh? who?". He was obviously complaining about David Johnson having ruined his fantasy season. Kinda funny to hear "David Anderson" more than once.

But yea, with no IR spot, I think it's ok to drop him now. I wouldn't have said so 2-3 weeks ago, but with ARI not looking be playoff contenders, I don't see DJ coming back. Best case scenario I could see if maybe Arians giving him like 10-15 carries? Even that seems like a long shot imo.

I have done my best to block him out of my memory. I am in 2nd place in the league and around 10 pts out of first on the points with a wasted #1 overall.

Haha yea in redraft I think it was common for DJ owners to have grabbed one (or two!) of Gronk/Fournette/Hunt/Hopkins at the 2.12/3.01 turn. And with trades+waivers, sh*t is never over.

in ppr was just offered: bell/kelvin/hogan for my m thomas/fuller/mckinnon

qb/3wr/2rb/flx ; I am currently 4th in a very very close playoff race and 1st in points (get $ for this if we hold)

my roster:

qb: wilson
wr: green, m thomas, fuller, fitz, thielen
rb: hyde, mckinnon, buck, burkhead, mcfadden, breida
te: asj, reed

i am more than happy to sell high on fuller but seems like i am giving up too much here even getting bell.

also bell/mckinnon/thielen all on bye this week and hogan is hurt so i would end up having to roster someone random off the wire.

thoughts?

Received an interesting offer in 0.5 PPR, my Ajayi for McKinnon. I'm 2-6 and basically need to go 5-1 the rest of the way to make the playoffs. I'm a huge favorite the next 2 weeks so the question is how does Ajayi compare coming off his bye with 2 weeks to learn the system vs McKinnon for ROS? I'm leaning towards standing pat- I think it's close and would accept if McKinnon was a valuable asset for me Week 10.

I'd accept happily, Bell is extremely valuable and this move would vastly improve your RB situation while you will still be OK at WR. Do only the top 4 make the playoffs? I think I would accept either way though

Man I hate people.

Guy accidentally dropped a guy earlier . And on ESPN you can’t reverse it from the app . So I have to grab my labtop blah blah and fix it .

So now 2 hours later he drops him and someone else picks him up cause he wasn’t put on waivers and I have to fix that too.

If you were just gonna drop him why even say anything

1) Take the Bell offer, IMO.

2) I like Ajayi in Philly more than McKinnon, IMO.

I think you have to take this trade, but I also think it's closer than the "omg snap accept" crowd seems to think it is.

In terms of your projected starters, you get a huge boost at RB, but it comes at the expense of BOTH your WR3 (Fuller) and your flex. Depending on your views of Hogan-vs-Thomas, you might also be taking a hit at WR2 (a THIRD starter). I probably value PPR WRs more than most others ITT, but here's how I see it:

Old starters:

WRs: AJG, Thomas, Fuller
RB: Hyde + McKinnon
Flex: one of Fitz/Thielen

New starters:

WRs: AJG, Hogan, one of Fitz/Thielen/Kelvin
RB: Hyde + BELL
Flex: your 2nd best choice of Fitz/Thielen/Kelvin

I think we can all agree on this though:

Bell >>>> KcKinnon
Thomas >= Hogan (similar high-powered offenses, each has similar risks too)
Kelvin << Fuller

Thomas and Hogan aren't close in value wtf. Hogan is injured too and might miss multiple weeks

Amazing people still not willing to accept Thielen is a WR1

Hence why the trade is a lot closer to even than "snap accept"

If that's what you took from my post, then you're making a very strong & incorrect inference. (If you're not referring to my post, then my bad, carry on, etc)

12 team PPR, Im 2nd in points but 3-5 and sitting in 8th place, so I need to win at least 4 of my last 5 games.

Got offered Julio and Riddick
for my Benji, Collins, and McFadden.

this is a snappity snap accept right, even if Riddick becomes my only bench RB?

lol at touching Gordon, especially in redraft

If you have the bench space and nothing else really available why not take a flier on him?

I agree that dropping a legit asset for him is crazy though.

meeeeeeeeh

you have better chances using advanced 'fiki kicker metrics than doing well with that stoner.

He's going to drop zeros or near-zeros in weeks 13-15.

And then some sicko (probably in a 2+2 league) will play him in a week 16 champ game and we'll see a stat line of 9/230/2.

And that one single game (he'll also have a goose egg week 17) will make his 2018 re-draft ADP somewhere in round 5-6.

So I have a player who was dropped today and instead of going on waivers he was made a free agent.

Someone picked up him up and I had to drop him again.

Have already posted and emailed league about it and said the next person to add him will have a penalty .

What’s something that I can actually do?
2017 Fantasy Football General Thread Quote

Don't give out penalties. Just tell your league-mates to not be morons.

Why can't he be added to waivers?

If it's a FAAB league and for whatever reason he can't be added to waivers, have someone trustworthy (who won't bid) collect the bids of people who want that player (via text/email/whatever). If you're the commish, you should be able to manually adjust FAAB balances on most sites.
