I think if you were holding him coming into today's start, there's really no reason to drop him now. Without the Miller error, his line looks a lot better. He also looked better after going to the stretch full-time, so it'll be interesting if he stays with that.

Got offered Bogaerts & Moncada for Kluber in the same 12 keeper 6 man league. Is this the type of value I should expect to get back?

Dyson DL'd and Rangers fans everywhere let out a sigh of relief as it now means he physically cannot be their closer for at least the next 10 days... I dropped Barnette for Bush where I could as soon as he gave up that run in the 6th yesterday.

Interestingly, they recalled Kela, who is a middle reliever stud and probably has a non-zero chance of closing.

Is this a keeper or a dynasty league? I don't know much about how keeper rules work (ie which players are eligible to be kept and at what value and I believe it's different in all sorts of leagues), but in a redraft or dynasty I would say this is extremely good value for you, assuming you're getting Bogaerts and Moncada and giving away Kluber.

For those who haven't heard, DBacks are going to start using a humidor for their baseballs sometime starting around early June (maybe late May?). Estimations say the humidor will drop HR's at Chase Field by ~37%. Here's something written about the humidor from the past: http://www.baseballprospectus.com/ar...rticleid=13057

That's a long read, but the Colorado humidor put in years ago dropped the HR rate 25% (he estimated 24-36 as the range). Arizona's is estimated as 31%-43% roughly. Will be worth watching, that's a big drop potentially, and could effect some of their HR hitters who barely hit it out.

That's an enormous drop. Goldy loses some value, Zona pitchers gain some value?

Thank god I blindly follow Steamer and drafted Thames 2 rounds early

I dropped Thames in my Roto league where I'm getting killed in RBI and HR and they guy that picked him up is in 1st.. super shallow league buy man I am kicking myself over that one after every single Thames homer. So basically every day.

I need to pick up an OF.

Traditional 5x5 cats plus OPS and Ks (as a minus for hitters).

Trying to decide between Judge, Souza, and Dickerson as best options.

Is it ROTO or H2H? If H2H i'd probably just punt K's and take Judge. if Roto it's a bit tougher.

Chris Devenski is unreal in roto. This guy has provided Kershaw-like stats as a long reliever since last season.

Drafted Devenski in a lot of places. In my Roto league with a start limit and IP as a category he is one of the best players you can possibly have since he has SP designation.

Archie Bradley quietly being used in a similar role as well for the Dbacks. I think a lot of teams are going to start trying to have a long reliever like this. It's super useful in the playoffs and during the regular season it takes some stress off of your starters

Archie been straight assassin, and his beard is majestic.

Hill and Graveman hit the DL for me in my redraft, scooped Devenski to help, it's S+H as well and while he doesn't get a ton of holds, he will get some with the ratios and Ks.

yea the fangraphs guys were saying how snell looks real good with bases empty and loses it once there are men on base. seems like something fixable for a young guy especially if the stuff is good

if memory serves me correct the usual plan is get them to try to pitch some from the stretch with the bases empty to try to get them more practice without it being only in a high leverage spot.

Moncada seems like a fringe keeper if only 72 players are kept, but I hate using limited keeper slots on unproven players to the point it might be a leak of mine. I guess if you are going to do so, Moncada has the type of upside to warrant it. Just feel like it really puts you behind.

That said getting Bogaerts plus a good lotto ticket seems like a solid get for Kluber I would probably take it

Anthony Rizzo is likely to gain 2B eligibility due to whatever shifts and other nonsense Maddon is putting on in Chicago. Apparently he has to switch gloves and everything to the point it is making its way into the MLB box score. He just made his second appearance today.

Its hard for me to check what ESPN and Yahoo are doing, but CBS and Fantrax are definitely reflecting (as I guess they should) what is happening. Scott White at CBS said on Twitter he's personally not thrilled about the situation but that they do not intend to override anything in the official scoring.

As a sour grape non-Rizzo owner I think this is sorta a farce (the other infielders are moving all over the place in shifts - tbf I have not seen the video of what the Cubs are doing yet) but if you're in a 5 or 10 game eligibility league he will probably get 2B at some point soon
