i'm aware of his velo increase. have him in a few leagues. eager to see how he does not as a pitch to grounders wannabe and more a power pitcher

FYI Devenski is my big RP sleeper this year. I consider him to be Andrew Miller lite, and with even more IP. Bonus is he is SP/RP. Astros are fine with him pitching 3 innings and more in a single relief appearance, and he has been stretched out even more for this season. Great ratio booster due to how many innings he pitches out of relief. Maybe not too great in roto since on a per inning basis he won't match the ratios of the mega elite RPs.

How the **** is it even possible for a manager to be stupid enough to leave any reliever in long enough to be able to give up 8 ER?

apparently they changed how they do the radar this year and it's showing a lot of guys with increased velocity this year

Surprised SRM didn't freak out over Hill getting hit on his hand by a pitch yesterday

Other things:
JDM had his boot removed, is now going back to doctor's to reevaluate. People are saying it's fine, I don't think you go back for reevaluation if there's no pain.
Xander out until Monday, bereavement.
Red Sox have flu bug running around, so be careful of your Red Sox starters
