I'm not huge on ROS when it comes to D. And the Jets have a real bad schedule till week 6 (and then it gets juicy).

I think in your spot I stream.

Just take the Rams off your board. They will never hold up with as bad as that offense is.

the Eagles are available too.
and I'm tempted to pick up the bucs in anticipation of their matchup with rams next week.

I'd be happy to stream Eagles D this week.

Bucs or Dolphins for week 3 (assuming you started NYJ this week)...then ask the question again but for week 4. Forget ROS, just stream.

Are Jets just that bad? It doesn't get much better than playing BUF (basically) without Watkins on a Thursday. 7 sacks week 1.

It'll be a hit and miss ROS with jets. They're certainly not good enough to roster and hold the whole season, definitely a streaming defense, but on the higher end of that spectrum.

Unfortunately Darrelle Revis is water trash now so that hurts them.

10 team NON PPR 2RB/2WR/1 flex. 6PPTD. Everything else standard. 6/10 make the playoffs, top 2 seeds get bye, 1 seed gets to pick his opponent in semifinal.

Drafted team:
Cousins/Ryan
Shady/Hyde/M Gordon/Woodhead/Ajayai/Tevin
Julio/Demariyus/Maclin/Hurns/Crabtree
Reed

Current team:
Stafford/Flacco
Shady/Hyde/Woodhead/C Thompson/Ajayai/Sproles
Julio/Jordy/Maclin/Crabtree/Tyrell Williams
Kelce

I obviously have less depth now. Has my team gotten better or worse?

Not much difference imo. If it is better or worse, it's not by much. Seems like it will rely mostly on whether Jordy is the 2014 version of himself, which seems at least somewhat questionable at this point.

We have to give MIA some credit after week 1 right?

OK, so, not trying to be the guy who skips looking back through the thread for an answer to my question, but I couldn't find it in the past 4 pages so I'm wondering:

Generally: What are we doing with Dez this week in a PPR? We have to play him again and expect him to get his, right?

More specifically: I originally had Dez/Julio in my WR1/WR2 spots with Randall Cobb in the flex (and Fitz on the bench, woops). So now I have Julio/Fitz as WR1/2 and probably Dez in the flex. My question is less about whether he deserves the start period and more about whether I should look to trade Dez and a mid-to-low range RB for a higher tier RB and a middle-tier WR, or the best WR I can get with a reasonably top-ish tier RB, or should I just hold out and expect Dez to come thru once he builds some kind of rapport with Dak Prescott. I know if I trade him now or after another bum week I'm going to have to accept much less than he's worth on average.

Dez is a high WR2 IMO. The Washington defence should be a lot worse than the NYG defence, and I also think that Dak will be encouraged to look outside the numbers more in decent 1 on 1 looks.

Without knowing your league rules and rosters I would say yes, I would look to trade one of those WRs to get an RB if you are only starting 3 WRs. Whether that is trading Dez or Cobb or whoever is up to you.

Why is that? I see them being pretty similar.

Josh Norman will likely play only on one side of the field as he did vs Pitt. I expect the Cowboys to exploit that by playing Dez mostly on the opposite side, as Pitt did with Antonio Brown.

The bigger issue IMO would be whether Dallas has so much success with the run game and game script that Dak only throws the ball 20 times or less, where even if Bryant got a third of the targets wouldn't be great.

Are we holding onto Ertz at this point? I'm in a no-flex, 5 bench spot league, so having an injured and mediocre TE2 isn't the greatest. Don't feel like he has a ton of trade value at this point so early on, either.

I drop him with a plan to pick him back up in FA after this week if he slips through the cracks. Assuming of course you don't have another fistpump drop in your team anyway.

How high are we on Will Fuller? Should I drop Rivers for him since Keenan Allen is gone? I have Carr...

Fuller should def be picked up immediately. I would drop Carr before Rivers though, you'll want to be starting Rivers for the next 3 weeks at least with his matchups and Carr isn't much better than what's on the wire prob.

Anyone else you can drop besides the Qbs?

I just dropped Rivers for Carr in an 8team league where I'm streaming QBs. I definitely drop someone for Fuller. Depends in your ROS strategy. Usually not worth it to carry two QBs

Waiver wire for QBs is pretty thin since everybody basically drafted 2 QBs for some reason. My buddy picked up Flacco as the best option this week...

Other drop options are Matt Jones, Tevin Coleman and Tyrell Williams...

Rest of roster is:

Carr/Rivers
Doug Martin/DeAngelo/Jennings/Forte
Dez/Julio/Cobb/
Kelce

edit: Need to make a decision soon :-/

I'd drop Carr for Fuller in this spot.
