If only 2, I would try to trade Andre or Nelson for a better RB than Tate.
You will get more for either of them than you will for Edelman, but Edelman is likely to see a fully integrated role in this offense by the time Amendola comes backs and be nearly as valuable.
starting 2 wrs and 1 rb/wr flex

someone offered me ben tate for edelman

i'm considering it but i feel like that will just leave me with a ****ty choice between tate/williams/miller like every week. that being said edelman will lose a lot of value once amendola comes back (ofc he could get hurt again too)

what say you guys? i know i have a bit of a weird roster construction with me flexing a receiver but don't think i have a choice with it being 1 pt ppr and my roster. obv i'm hoping lamar miller pans out to a solid rb2

This IMO

I like Tate bit Edelman's stock is too high. Keep Dre though. See what you can get for Jordy and reevaluate.

Depends on your situation. Roster/lineup?

14 Team PPR 3wr/2rb/flex

Eli
Trent, CJ2k, D Wilson, Roy Helu, Kendall Hunter
Dez, hakeem, Britt, Randle, Marlon Brown, Eddie Royal
Witten

His team

Stafford
Arian, Demarco, Bradshaw, Ben Tate
Marshall, Welker, TY Hilton, Greg jennings, Baldwin
Martellius Bennet, Kellen Winslow

A potential deal could be my Witten, Marlon Brown for his Bradshaw, Welker.

Thoughts? I would be crushed at TE but would be set with my wr1-3 and have solid flex plays with david wilson and bradshaw. I also could pursue Jared Cook from a Gronk owner when he comes back but it could cost me more than I would want.

Do you guys see any other angles?

Hell yeah.

In a vacuum, I may not take this, but your situation is one where Sproles is much more valuable to you than Cruz, esp after Gordon is back.

Thanks guys, so everyone agrees I have to take this?
What are we expecting from Gordon when he returns?

So his official offer is SProles + E.Sanders for Cruz

And another owner who has Dez/VJax/Bowe/Edelman as his WR's tentatively sent me this one via text "Ill give you 2 of my receivers for Cruz, one of them can be Dez"
I have to take this one regardless of who the 2nd WR is, if hes serious and sends it, right?
I could surely trade any of those other WR for a low end RB or RB3 type?

12 team keeper league. No PPR. QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, W/R flex, W/T flex, D.

We keep four players, no restrictions. So round 1 of the draft is basically rookies + a round 5 and round 2 is a round 6, etc.

Here's my roster:

QB: Romo, Cutler, Pryor
RB: Charles, D. Richardson, Moreno, Knile Davis
WR: Cobb, Decker, Mike Williams, James Jones, Chris Givens, Kenny Stills, Harvin, Crabtree, Quinton Patton
TE: Graham, Julius Thomas
D: Chicago

I've been offered a 2nd round pick + Dwayne Allen for Julius Thomas. I have Jimmy Graham. I think the other owner will make the playoffs so hopefully it's a high 2nd. Do I make the deal? I can start Thomas in that flex spot along with Graham so there is some value in keeping him. I also think Thomas is due for some big weeks coming up against the defenses he's playing.

Also, what's the highest draft pick, with these rules and this roster, that you'd give up for Bryce Brown?

12 team, standard scoring, non ppr, 2rb 2wr flex

i send charles and romo for AP. then with another team, send miles austin for luck

my team currently:
qb- romo
rb- charles, cj2k, wilson, bryce brown, christine michael, lamichael james
wr- julio, austin, boldin, rice, marlon brown
te- VD

new team would be
qb-luck
rb- AP, cj2k, wilson, bryce brown etc
wr- julio, boldin, rice, marlon brown

leaves me thin at wr but prob worth it to acquire AP. do u guys like both of these trades for me. one other option is trading for AP and then going after a different qb. instead of doing austin for luck, could maybe do bryce brown for eli, since the eli owner has mccoy, and that doesnt leave me thin at wr. thoughts?

i agree i should trade charles/romo for AP. i was more looking for an opinion on whether i should then trade austin for luck or trade bryce brown for eli. obv i like luck better than eli, but trading austin leaves me thin at wr.

Seems fairly lateral to me. Both have busts playing behind them. Lamar younger and healthier. I keep him.

Obv the Dez trade is way better.

I think a 6th rounder for JT would be good value in a re-draft, so I would do this. Not many TEs are worth that high of a pick and I just don't think we can pencil him in as a top 5 TE after one week. Also, having Graham makes it a lot easier.

Why do you have 3 QBs and 4 RBs? And Crabtree? WTF?

Keeper league and they have pretty huge rosters I would guess.
Anyone who has potential for top 50 value next year is going to be owned.

As expected the Dez owner is having second thoughts. have a feeling he talked to otehr league members (mostly friends in this league) and they told him he would be stupid to do it.

Take the Sproles offer if Dez owner flakes?

Yeah, I pulled the trigger.

I have 19 players, so there's no reason not to keep high-upside guys in the deep roster spots. I mean, who should I cut those guys for? Probably the first 10 names you think of are already rostered elsewhere.

I only have 4 RBs because the position was picked clean in a hurry. 27 RBs were kept and a very small handful were available with any real chance of contributing. (Charles was my keeper, Richardson I took #3 overall, and Moreno was a 5th-round pick). Hence my question on what Bryce Brown is worth.

I am also trying to get Tyler Eifert from waivers for Patton.

Bingo. If my season goes in the toilet early I can trade some of my starters and still have Harvin/Crabtree in my long-term plans.

J.Graham for Sproles and JCook? I was high on Cook this year and was going to snag him late to deal him off but got snipped. Anyways I have McCoy, Lamar, Andre Brown (ir), Bryce Brown and Pierre Thomas. Yahoo says this isn't a bad trade foe me, and I think it under-rates Cook.

FWIW, I own him in 8/10 leagues. I think the Eagles will keep running a ton of plays and 50%+ will be runs. Shady can't keep carrying the ball 31 times/gm so someone has to pick up the slack.

Have Edelman, Calvin, Fitz, Garcon, Shorts, Austin. Really want to get an every week RB starter in my 10-team PPR league (current RBs Morris, MJD, Lacy). Friend has a pretty dire need at WR (current starters Randle and Floyd) but great RBs (Bush and Trent).

What do you guys think a fair offer would be for Bush?

In standard, your weekly lineup is close to breaking even, IMO, but what's added in RB depth trumps that, IMO. In PPR, this is a great deal.

Again, when you really need a RB2, you're in a spot where your survival is based on trading away a WR1, top-5 TE, or high-end WR2. When the value is thin, it's usually best that you go for the deal because WRs and TEs are easier to replace than RBs in your starting lineups when injuries and BYEs hit.
