Phil Hellmuth would say "if it weren't for injuries I'd win every one"

Injuries confirmed murdering me
To be fair Gronk, Percy and Roddy were all hurt before the season even started

Sadly, no.

IMO I wasn't exactly in the position to wait and hope that Ridley would stop being AIDS. Definitely didn't like making the trade but thought my hands were tied with my ****ty RB situation.

More valuable in standard league for the rest of the season, Gore, Knowshon or Andre? And in what order?

Gore (just cause I still don't trust the Denver backfield)
Moreno

Andre (WRs go down in standard, plus QB issues)

You do mean Andre Johnson, not Brown?

I actually don't hate this trade that much and can see why you do it depending on your roster and record. it's def not hate worthy if you've seen Gore run this year.

btw in my ypl ($100) I traded Gio and Torrey for Mega and Joique before last weeks game. not sure how to feel but I have pretty good WRs and decent RBs:

QB: stafford
RB: Shady, Gore, Joique, Tate, Bryce
WR: Mega, Dez, Gordon, Antonio, VJax
TE: Cameron

gonna try to flip one of the WRs to upgrade elsewhere but honestly not sure what my most pertinent needs are haha. I'm 4-2 but if I started Cameron over Cook in wk 2-3 i would be 6-0

Lol that's a sick WR core. Would def. look to improve elsewhere obv.

I was 4-1 in my league, now 4-2. I was happy to be 4-1, but I was like 6/10 in points for, so I knew I was fortunate to be where I was at and had to look to improve or else I could still find myself on the outside come playoff time.

i'm guessing given the time of your post it may have still been processing waivers or something so it blocked it out. try again in a bit

My qb Andrew luck has a bye week 8. I'm in a 16 team non or league so there aren't many big options in the free agency. I have Carson Palmer as my backup qb but he's so interception prone I don't know if I want to play him. The only qb worth picking up though is glennon. Should I just go with Palmer and get what's expected or take a gamble on glennon?

Who Palmer is playing is important. At home vs ATL is not a bad matchup, prob better than Glennon vs CAR.

EDIT: agree with below, Fitz obv huge factor too

Who do you guys think has a better shot of being relevant for just week 10 drich or Andre brown?

Okay folks, I need some advice. I help a friend run a small-stakes football league for guys from our hockey team. They're all new to football and/or not huge football fans, so many of them were nervous about joining and being fishy. Needless to say they ask advice a lot, but are afraid to make moves because they don't want to get fleeced or whatever. It's all fine, everyone has been playing nice.

Until this weekend. A trade went down Sunday night, and our league has no veto settings for trades to get blocked. So this deal went straight through. It's between two friends of friends who are currently in 11 and 12th out of 12 and have a combined record of 1-11. This is their first football fantasy league, but they've done hockey and baseball with me before, so they know how it works. Pretty clear dump trade.

Team A Gets:
Stafford, Blackmon, Spiller, Gronk, AP, Seattle Defense

for Team B Getting:
Sidney Rice, Green Bay Defense, Shane Vereen, Santana Moss, Willis McGahee and Eli Manning

What do we do here considering there is no veto and these guys don't seem willing to reverse the deal?? Lock teams and compete with ten?

Not looking at opponents I think Brown against anyone over DRich against anyone.

Doesn't NYG have OAK that week?

Lock and compete with ten. This is obv collusion.

Another option since it seems like a friendly league is to continue on and negotiate a side pool of like 20% of the prize pool to have two playoffs if Team A gets there. Or make Team A enter another entry fee to pump the pool as a fine and play on as normal. I don't like it but just throwing something out there.

I assume you guys don't have a constitution?

There's no veto but can the commish just edit lineups back to the way they were? I'd do that and lock the teams assuming you already collected money from them

No, we don't have a constitution or any by-laws or anything like that. It's the first year for the league, and basically I'm trying to protect guys on their first experience from bs like this.

My initial lean is lock and competing with ten. I can change the schedule to take the other guys out of equation. I'm polling the league to see their thoughts, but my lean is to get these guys out.

I can edit their current rosters, but cannot do anything to change back players that were on their teams. Other problem is that since these guys are friends of friends, I don't have money yet.

Which is a problem and is 100% mine and the commish's fault.
