I have been using this approach:

I use subsets of 89 flops and I play against the solution.
On every decision I try to guess what our range looks like only in terms of overall bet/check/fold and sizing %'s , Then I try to guess what our actual hand does, At this point I check the solution, if I am happy with it, I proceed to the next decision/hand, if not, I stop and study it. If I am way off with my %'s stated above i try to memorize/understand/look for paterns. If I am wrong with my current hand's action I check for: What it actually does. How does the part of the range that perform that action/s look like. How does the part of the range that perform the action/s that i mistakenly attributed to my hand look like.

This may not be good. But it is a way for me to get my lazy ass into solver work.

Thoughts?

Personally I think it's going to be much better to apply a lot more structure to your studying than you are currently. It would be better if you focus on certain flop subsets/situations than just sort of using a shotgun approach and doing a little bit of everything.

If you're wondering where to start with a more focused approach, then I'd suggest you focus on situations that occur the most often or on the spots you feel you lack the most understanding in. In the former case, it would be common situations like BB vs BTN SRP, BB vs SB SRP/3bp, etc.

Yes sorry, should've explained that better. I play against the solution BB vs BTN SRP and SB vs BTN 3bp, wich are the ones i solved for with 89 flop subsets so far. I play x hands oop then ip.

I think that can be a good start, but honing in even more specifically could be more beneficial. Specifically focusing on certain flop types rather than running the 89 or also specifically focusing on certain lines.

What inputs are you using? Make sure your sim set up makes sense is probably the most important thing.

I use as much as i can with the computer i have:

On BTN vs BB srp:

IP can bet 33%,75% Flop 33,75,150 Turn 33,75,150,999 River

OOP can donk 66% flop and probe/cbet T,R same as IP.

Raises left as standard 3x as this was alrdy close to limits.

I use the free "old"? zenith ranges.
