I have been trying out the small ball approach at $5 to $10 HUSNGs, min raising all buttons and limping more, its worked out surprising well over a small sample, my question is, are there players at mid to high stakes regs that use this small ball approach?
I have watched allot of HUSNG videos by Primo and hoki Greg, which are great but they almost never use this style, they always 3x from the button early in the match or add in min raises a small part of the time.

What are the long term disadvantages of playing small ball poker, against standard 3x raising?

Just to state I also min raise big hands like AA, KK when I tried to play small ball to balance.
