Anytime I am playing live and I hear those words it is like music to my ears. I sometimes even probe by saying that to see which players agree or disagree.

Yes you can its the negative thought in your head that makes you lose. Its immpossible if you play enought poker to lose with it all the time. Just raise raise raise to get everyone out if your that scared your going to lose!

Well, I've come to realize that it's true that AA/KK/AK never wins so I just fold them preflop. Instead I play those J3, 93 or 83 because when I flop 2 pair I can break Aces :-)

It always amazes me how people who understand you have to disguise your hand at the table, frequently give away free information about their game. In my experience, it's seldom deceptive.

A guy who can't win with AA or AK is not playing aggressively. He's letting people hang around to fill straights and flushes, or pick up two pair on the river. He's also not folding them when he's clearly beat. The fact that he moans to the world about it instead of analyzing and fixing his game means he doesn't understand poker.

With players like this, it's profitable to play a lot of drawing hands because he'll let you do it cheap and pay off when you hit. You can also bully them out of a lot of pots, and get good reads if they stay in.
