LJ vs BB: Tc8h5h vs cbet - Folding question LJ vs BB: Tc8h5h vs cbet - Folding question

Input ranges are Modern Poker Theory's 6max LJ RFI and BB vs LJ calling.

Vs a cbet from the LJ, BB is calling 75 suited combos nearly 100% but folding 77 100%. Why is this?

Both hands are pairs (and a pair of sevens is of course better than a pair of fives) with similar draw potential to a straight. 75 does block a set of fives, but LJ is opening these at a low frequency.

Solver config.

The only hands that 77 beats that 75 doesn’t are 66, A5s and K5s, which are a very small part of LJs betting range. 75 has 5 outs to improve though, while 77 only has two.

That makes perfect sense, thank you.

Sure enough, when I view the equity heatmap, it is clear that 77 is a worse hand.
