Is this just a cooler or did I make a bad play? I feel that I played the hand fine after the flop. The ? is should I have done something different preflop. On the plus side I have had a 1st and 6th in this mtt this week.
Hm... Knowing that he had Kc,2c it's easy to say you should have shoved on him PF. You obviously got coolered after the flop... but should you have really shoved PF?
Eh, I probably would have played your hand the same way. If you get called PF, what hands are you really beating? Low pocket pairs?
With your stack I'm definitely shoving or folding pre. Never ever calling.
This. You have a great stack size to resteal, and if he's been very active then I'm definitely shipping pretty wide vs him. Sucks he had your club outs, but you are still ahead when the money got in.

Its not a cooler... V had 9 outs... he hit one. If you had both flopped flushes that would be a cooler.
play is fine on the flop.... in fact the one thing i dont like is that if hes cbetting air your raise is big enough that he might fold. I dont hate a min raise here then calling his turn shove or shoving if checked to.
i didn't even think about a smaller raise but after that flop a smaller raise would have been better. With a flop like this you are looking for maximum value...well most of the time.
imo shoving pre flop def wrong, your either way behind, behind or marginally ahead of all his range, no matter how often he has been raising. Hand played ok, just unlucky.
