How would you do this? How would you do this?

I have a guy who is a verified winning player. I've observed him beat the 9-18 through 40-80 games at commerce on a consistent basis for over 200 hours of play. Furthermore, I've verified that he's a winning player on line for over 100K hands (I'd say in a live game he's around a 1.5 - 2.0 BB/100 winner).

We have some strategy disagreements, but they are on very fine points and overall we agree on most limit poker game-play.

Most importantly, I trust the guy.

Unfortunately, he just had a large percentage of his bankroll (cash) stolen by an ex-roommate (that's a whole different post and yes the police are involved).

Any thoughts on a short- medium term staking deal??? I think this would be a profitable situation for me, and I would like to help the guy get back to even.

I'm new to this idea and I'm pretty clueless about cash game staking deals. Obviously I'm aware of the variance poker poses... and I doubt I'll be too results oriented but the money DOES matter to me (both principal and ROI)

Please help...

I'm thinking about staking him at a percentage of wins for a certain # of sessions... but obviously I'm up for suggestions.
