How exploitabilty % of a strategy calculated without calculating the unexploitable strategy? How exploitabilty % of a strategy calculated without calculating the unexploitable strategy?

title probably isnt very clear. i am new to this gto stuff and my math is kind of bad if thats related. i dont have a solver but from what i see and heard when you are solving you enter the maximum exploitbilty percentage of the solve.

GTO = Unexploitable, Solver doesnt know the GTO and Trying to Calculate, so how can the solver estimates the exploitabilty percantage(distance from GTO) of the output without actually knowing the GTO?
sorry for bad english.

The exploitability % is simply the difference in EV between playing the current iteration of the equilibrium approximation and the EV of maximally exploiting the current equilibrium approximation.
The more the solver can iterate the smaller the gap between the solver strategy and the MES gets. Logically when there is no EV difference between the two you are at equilibrium.

it knows how hard you can exploit the current approximation
