95% if not more regs at 6max cash without much thinking always sit down with 100bb or whatever maximum for the table is. I think this is not irrelevant decision point and thus there is optimal stack size you should buy-in. I pretty sure in theory smallest stack size has advantage even if everyone plays gto. In practice my guess would it's best to buy-in just enough to cover the fish or min buyin if there is no fish on the table.

What do you guys think? Do anyone has data how reg WR changes with stack size in cash or even mtts?

In theory, playing short is optimal. However, if you have an edge, playing deeper is usually more profitable.

I think theory supports this sample if you have a solid win rate vs your pool. As stack size increases your profit/hr rises but so does variance. I think profit/hr probably also tapers off a bit at 300bb+ but I only play live cash and this is my subjective opinion only. Probably difficult to measure.

This is isn't exactly equivalent, but Tombos made a video about stack depth.
There he showed that positional advantage grows with stack depth in theory, but tapers off at around 200bb.

I'm guessing our winrate at a soft table probably follows a similar pattern.

Cool. I would imagine most of additional ev in deep spots comes from fish/weak regs. Regs also probably make more mistakes palying short. I play only couple thousand hands short and even in that sample saw regs 3betting me to 12bb form BB even 14bb after I iso fish.
