Thought this was an interesting post from back at the height of 2p2. Would be interested to see what peoples thoughts are about the thread and who you agree with ?

Are discussions like this relevant too today's game or has poker evolved that much since then ?

cliffs: Samoleus believes it is *always* incorrect to reraise QJs from the blinds. EmpireMaker and others believe its better to mix up your play.

Samoleus, who was an unorthodox yet winning mid/high grinder, is of course laughably wrong. Its actually a bit surprising to see this thread since in general he was the type to mix up his play much more than other players.

In the glory days, everyone was terrible at poker. That's a fun thread from 2006 though. I recognise a lot of the screennames even though it was made several years before I started playing.

Yes

I gave thread a quick nostalgic scan and yeah it was amazing that so many strong HSNL players were so open about strategy back then. I used to spend hours reading 2+2. I can't tell you the last time I even looked in the HSNL thread.
