I wish there were a "get your equity share when all in" as oposed to a runittwice option. I don t see any bad reasons for the site not to consider this, quiet the oposite actually, thoughts??

No you don't.

You think you want this because you're usually getting it in good. The flip side is, your opponents, the fish, are NOT getting it in good. If you got to realize your equity, you'd have less losing days and they'd have more winning days.

Fish keep playing poker because even the worst player can have huge winning nights. It's what sustains the game.

I think running it twice actually may be a small improvement to the game though - it adds a little more gamble maybe? You get to see the board go out two times, so you get two sweats. I dunno, I have nothing to back that up, maybe fish prefer one bigger sweat.

I rarely see recreationals using the run it twice option, maybe cause i play on ps.it and the option is only available in the menu and not on the table. Not sure if that s the case on .com but if it were, i m certain this option would mainly retain the attention of regs, many would be happy to pay some fpp or even a slight added tax for this insurance.

The other counter argument , is that, yes fishs would not get the big lucky pots, but they would loose less fast (which is good for everyone). And no matter what they prefer, the choice will remain theirs.

The only issue i see when thinking about recreationnals is lack of knowledge and not understanding whats going on , pot odds, equity etc ...

Unless the entire hand was heads-up, an equity share would be one of the following:
1) Inaccurate, or
2) Exposing information about folded hands

Yeah, me too.

Example scenario:
P1 raise w/ XX.
P2 holding 22 & P3 holding AK both go all-in.
P1 folds.

Hand is all-in between P2 and P3, 22 vs AK.

P1's folded cards are not random, so completely ignoring his cards would be inaccurate. Given that he raised his hand, he was more likely to hold an A or K than a deuce. Not accounting for P1's cards would favor P3.

But if we account for his folded cards to calculate the exact equity share, information about his cards will be exposed to the other players.
