hey there,

i'm kinda stuck with this question for quite some time...

i play 18-man sng's most of the times and often ppl shove 100% of the hands when they are in the sb exploiting the bubble

lets say you hold a hand like k8 offsuit in the bb, you know the sb is shoving hands like j8, 63, q4 etc.

are there times where you fold these hands even if you know you are way ahead of his range?

ofcourse it is easier to fold if there is someone with a 1bb stack, but i just hate ppl exploiting the bubble with the crappiest hands and end up winning with them

The reason people shove wide is because it's profitable. There are many charts as to what optimal calling/shoving ranges are for these spots that you can find all over this site, if you study them I guarantee it will help your game. Also, make sure you're shoving yourself and then they can't exploit you anymore then you can exploit them.

depends on stacks. Ill call if i have a big stack. If you have a small stack i call much more narrow and shove very wide myself
