After my opponent 3bet preflop, we're headsup to the flop and we have an A,rag, rag flop I feel this is a good place to bluff or even double barrel quite often. The 3betting range of many opponents contains relatively far fewer aces than their normal preflop raising range, since the big pairs make up a bigger part of that range and except for AK most aces are not worth a 3bet to many villains.

Any thoughts/experiences on this?

So many variables here. Post a hand for some better feedback. However, double barreling on a 3 bet pot probably means you are shoving because of stack commitment. So the question is do you really want to bluff your whole stack vs. a villain who has shown strength on an A high flop? FWIW I am generally a light 3 better and Ax is a big part of my range, although I would have a tough time calling off my whole stack with a weak ace.

i find that play in 3bet pots is polarized b/t spewy/nitty, but obv this isn't true amongst better players. some people just don't like to fold in 3bet pots; you should wait for a read b/f trying to make them do so.

You guys are right... I needed my head straightened. We add a lot of variance for a little possible profit. And we need a very nitty villain here to make it slightly profitable.
