what percent of the pot are you usually betting on the flop, when you pf raise and flop top pair (or in any other random situation that your are first in postflop)?

How often do you vary the sizing?

1/2 to 2/3 of the pot depending on board texture. Very occaisonally full pot. This is the same amount that I bet if I flop a set, or nothing, also (provided I plan on betting at all)

Yeah. I think that for the micros it is generally better to c-bet more on the flop (closer to pot), mainly for value. But this may not always be the correct play, depending on relative stack sizes (if villain is slightly short-stacked, for example)

Or if you are, relative to the pot size. In general I don't think I'd ever bet less than all in (if possible by betting structure) if a smaller bet would leave me with less than that bet. Like say the pot is 100 and I have 100. I am not going to bet 60 into this pot, because it leaves me only 40 - it's basically going to be impossible to fold unless the bet I'm about to make is a total bluff. So it doesn't make sense to leave money behind, really. Hard to say exactly where my cutoff is, might depend a bit on what I actually have, even though usually I don't like to vary my betsize based on my holding.

It's fine to vary bet sizing based on your hand strength if either:

1. they won't notice
2. you know how they will interpret it (aka can level them into doing something)
3. your range for any bet size is balanced (so you can bet small with some strong some weak hands and same with big bet).

Yeah the only reason I wouldn't shove here is if I thought villain thought he was a pro and could make big laydowns to apparently-large bets even after committing 30%+ of his chips. Or, maybe sometimes you can min-bet to induce spazz and stuff like that, but that's very villain-dependent. So yeah generally i would shove there ofc
