I'm wondering how much the BBJ needs to be in order to make playing on a BBJ table +EV. It's a skin of Carbon Poker, called Poker Nordica. The jackpot is currently at 97.7k and the BBJ rake is $.50 per pot(that sees a flop). It's only available to 100nl and up(I don't think this matters) and the payout is as follows:

35% to the loser
17.5% to the player with the winning hand
17.5% to the other players who had cards dealt in the round
20% to start the jackpot again
10% goes to the poker rooms on the network(don't even know what this means)

Both hole cards have to play in your 5-card hand, and the losing hand must be quad 7's or better.

It would be trivial to figure out if every hand that would qualify for the BBJ went to showdown, but that's not the case. Does anyone know how to figure it out?

If memory serves, the merge bbj isn't +EV until it gets into the mid to high six figures.
I could be wrong though.

Please close this thread and/or merge it with the one in the Probability.

For the record, meow_meow, I am more interested in knowing the math behind it, to apply it to all BBJ's.
