Why do we in 3bet pot as preflop caller raise jam small overpairs against range containing all the better overpairs and overcards+flushdraws against we are the underdog?
Is it just for the small +EV profit we get from villain folding the non-flush draw overcards?

Jamming as BTN cbets when the spr is low is actually reasonably common in this node. It will occur most often when BTN cbets are large. In your example is 67% cbet with a large 3b pre (12bb), but you can look at some spots where BTN cbet is ~100%.

It's to deny equity and still get called by worse. As you see in your example the EV of call is equivalent to jam at equilibrium, so if you think they bet more often, folded more often, or called with worse more often, then the jam might be more EV than call without taking into consideration exploits on future streets in the call node.

you mean when SB cbets. BTN is calling 3bet preflop and raise-jamming on the flop over the SB cbet.

Yes, when sb cbets, meant to say "jamming as btn vs cbet" and when "SB cbets are large"
