Tbh, I've never seen a big difference between high and low dEV sims. Most times it's just mixing variations (like OP said), which are (at least for me) less important. In practice, so much depends on your assumptions about your opponents preflop play, so why would you be so obsessed with high accuarcy postflop sims? Unless you're a genius, you won't be able to memorize these mixing frequencies anyway.
