Why are Royal Vegas Casino emailing me? Why are Royal Vegas Casino emailing me?

05-17-2012 , 05:03 PM
I randomly check my spam folder just in case I miss any correspondence from my new Nigerian friend and see today that I've been getting emails from Royal Vegas Casino addressing me by the name that I use on RPM.

RPM is the only site that I use this particular name on so I can only guess that they are somehow connected and/or responsible for a casino offering me a free €1200.

I havent checked out the site as I've no interest in casinos but are they connected to you guys in some way or has my email address and information fallen into someone elses hands?

RPM Poker is not affiliated with Royal Vegas Casino in any way, nor does RPM Poker ever sell user data. It's possible that if you signed up with RPM Poker via an affiliate that your affiliate may have shared this data.

Would you mind forwarding this e-mail to Manager at RPMPoker dot eu so we may investigate this further, and please include your username?

By coincidence, after checking my spam folder for an email to send to you, I see I received a new one from them at the exact same time that you responded here.

Forwarding it onto you guys now.

Actually, after trying to send it, I'm getting a failure notice as Remote host said: 550 "The mail server detected your message as spam and has prevented delivery."

I believe it is not unusual for a rogue cust-serv rep to steal email info for competing sites. Perhaps before they bolt for that group? They might only have access to some of the addresses or only steal a handful or something weird though. I'm on RPM and have zero Royal Vegas emails in my spam (that I can find).

I received a postcard once from a different site that was addressed not to my name on UB, but rather to my PASSWORD that I used on UB. It was pretty creepy. In other words, if my password on UB was "Bob123" the postcard began "Dear Bob123, come to SuperiorCasino for the best slots!!"

I might be more concerned with a new Nigerian friend. Don't send money, no matter how good the investment opportunity is.
Jk.....sort of

After having discussed this with Seth and my affiliate, the above conclusion was both arrived at and subsequently dismissed.

I have counted at least 13 different casinos being mentioned in emails that have my RPM username in the subject line so there is a connection with my RPM account in some sort of way. After talking with Seth and my affiliate, I'm reasonably confident that this is "one of those things" and no underhand selling of info or anything happened.

Try your luck at any of the following casinos that I've seen in a few minutes of browsing my spam folder, all with my RPM username in the subject line: Royal Vegas, Topaze Online, WinPalace, Nice Casino, Casino Classic, Casino333, New Bet, 7 Red Casino, Casinos2Win, LaRiviera, EuroPalace Club, 21 Grand and Crazy Luck Casino.

If you notice email from any of the above and you end up signing up to them and winning big on the slots, PM me for where you can send my 25% referral fee to

I'm wondering if your email that is associated with your RPM account has been hacked?

I had a junkie neighbor that lost some money to one of those nigerian spammers.

I moved out fairly soon after that. Junkie neighbors are horrible.
