I purposefully earned Overdrive bonus for the month of June (credited 6/7/2011) and received a $1500 bonus to clear. This bonus clears in $20 increments (or every 1500 pts earned) for a total of $1500 at 112500 VIP points.

I also unknowingly earned Overdrive bonus for the month of July (credited 7/8/2011) about 2/3 of the way to releasing another $20 of my original Overdrive bonus, thus receiving an additional $1500 bonus to clear.

Now this is all fine and well, but the 2nd Overdrive bonus, was placed in front of the 1st bonus, thus "freezing" the first bonus at 66% towards $20. I now have to start back at 0% to clearing $20, and would have to earn 112500 points, before being able to complete the remaining 34% for my initial bonus.

If this is the standard of bonus stacking, it would appear that I'm being angle shot on credit for partial bonuses. As primarily a SNG/MTT grinder, I will perpetually have value trapped by stacked bonuses until they expire = weak.

Is that just the overdrive bonus, or does that include bonuses from the daily promos?

I am strictly speaking about Overdrive. Qualifying for Overdrive disqualifies you from other hand based promo's so I don't have any info on them.

lol, yes it is a bonus you have to clear.

would be pretty ridiculous if they just gave you $1500

Hmm, since bonuses seem to clear at an incredibly slow rate on RPM, is it really worth it to get overdrive and lose all the other hand promos?

I mean there is usually a day every week where getting an X number of hands gets you like a $100+ bonus.

if you play enough to get overdrive, you probably play enough for it to be worth it.

The bonuses on RPM Poker are the fastest clearing bonuses on the Merge Network!

The bonus expires after 90 days as per Merge Network rules. However, it does not expire upon withdrawing funds.

NOT necessarily true.. u can earn overdrive by spending 10$ in rake.

I just talked to Seth and he was able to hold my latest bonus, and reinstate the bonus I was currently working on clearing.

He assured me the "held value" wasn't an intentional angle shoot, and said this was something he could fix on a case by case basis.

Just thought I'd post that for some of you other guys who were having the same issue.

Kudos to RPM support once again!

Honestly, I never know how far along my bonus is cleared between increments, and I play so many hands that by the time it was switched back to the previous one, I may already have cleared enough of the new one to not make it that worth it.

Why not just make new bonuses appear "inactive and behind" current ones, so we can clear active ones until they expire, then after they expire the new one auto-activates?

I'm assuming the current back-end, which is maintained by Merge, doesn't really allow this. However, they can do it manually. As KidSinister mentioned, I got a $300 bonus that wasn't added to my account and when I got in touch with Seth, he said they're basically holding on to it for me until my current bonus either expires or is released in full.

This way, we get the full 90 days to clear the first bonus, then an additional 90 days to clear the second. Which is pretty sweet.
