Well, I should first tell you that the moves I gave in my post were checked with a computer, so I think they can be trusted. Still, it's nice to question them and figure out why they're right.
So, now without a computer:
1. Bg7+ Kxg7 2. e8=N+ Kh8 3. Rf8+
Oh, wait, that's mate. 3. Rf8#
