Just curious, is this an ongoing game, or are you analyzing the game that has already ended?

I doubt that a lot of people using facebook to play chess analyse the games they played, so I have to assume it is actually ongoing.. If it is, you are not getting an answer to your question here

Fair enough, you are right . How about the following: I clarify the situation and tell you my thought process and you tell me wether I'm ******ed or not. Villain has major advantage btw. He's been playing for 10+ years, I picked it up about a month ago.

I know I ****ed up badly with 8. Nxd5 but he did too with 23. Rb8. I pretty much am ok with my play then until 38.e4+. I simply didn't see that he could take with his knight.

Now I think I am pretty much ****ed even though I have a rook. I can't threaten his knight, cause once he recaptures with the king it's pretty much over. Every pawn is protected so that's no option either. I can play Ra5+ but he will probably play Ke6 and I don't see any good moves for white.

I'll just say that you are not correct. Good luck in the game, get back here when you finish it and then we can talk in more detail

well, now you see how it was possible to win the position (and indeed you were totally winning in the position you posted). It's very hard for a knight against a rook in an endgame like that, it is rare that knight+3 pawns can draw against R+3

yeah, looking back now it seems pretty trivial. But hey, that means I learnt something .

As far as game goes, I just quickly skimmed through so there might be some mistakes of my own:

8. Nxd5 is a mistake, you are losing if he plays 8... Nxe5.
9. cxd5 is a mistake, Nxd7 is required to save the piece
22..c6 big mistake by your opponent, you used it nicely with Rxc6
I didn't understand 38. e4+ at all
Well played in the end. Apart from that blunder in the opening I think you played a great game

7. Ne5 is also a mistake, 7. Bxf6 wins a piece
