I had to leave for work, and it was the last round, and neither of us were tied for any *meaningful* position, so we didn't worry about it. He offered to call it 3.5-0.5, but I figured under the circumstances it was better to only report the games actually played. But yes, we are supposed to play the fourth game normally.

Don was quite the gentleman in putting up with me being disconnected a couple times in the beginning. Moving upstairs (away from the wireless router?? wtf) solved my problem. His patience made me resolve to treat sportsmanship more seriously in the future.

I find the 3-1s more interesting. Almost every single 3-1 victory I've seen in either this or the last tourney seems to be 3-0, and then the weaker player wins the last game. So far this tourney we've had fourth game wins by players rated 380 and 500 points lower than their opponents (FICS blitz ratings).
