Carlsen and Kramnik both losing would be an apt finish to a tournament full of surprises.

You guys are getting a bit overexcited about the clock, 10 moves in 2 minutes was super standard before increments were invented.

houdini on chessbomb is giving carlsens game a -1.69 so i'm guessing his only hope is to try to get opposite colored bishops on the board and 4 vs 3

It's anticlimactic in the sense that neither Kramnik or Carlsen really proved their superiority, but both cracked under the pressure. Still, shouldn't take anything away from Svidler and Ivanchuk, who both played nice games.
