It's not over yet. They still have to play the last tournament in Astrakhan.
As I understand it, Radjabov just needs to finish solo 10th to beat Grischuk (who has exhausted his four entries) in their tiebreaker (points gained in the player's worst tournament). Of course, there are others who could overtake him...
a match against kramnik, aronian, anand, topalov can be very tough for him almost a coinflip....... and he will need match against at least two of them
then with the winner of topalov x anand
one thing is for sure. the winner will be the man.
its gr8 to have a true world champion again. the real title i guess since karpov x kasparov
i'm quite sure, that calrsen shall win this time. He's made really good progress in last half year (due to the coaching of kasparov ofcourse) and he plays really simple and good chess.
The next champion will be the one who wins the Candidates Tournament. Anand is getting old and less hungry. The winnent of the CT will just have won one of the strongest tournaments in chess history and be in excellent form chesswise. Gelfand, Kramnik, Topalov/Anand, Radjabov and the nominated guy are not prime contenders. For me the 2011 WC will be either Carlsen or Aronian.
