So, 3 days means a 72 hour clock?

Are there other clocks of note ?

Ya, 72-hour clock.

The clock can also be set for 1, 2, 5, 7, 10 or 14 days.

I was just looking at those games and thought 'who is this playing such champagne chess'. Nice games.

Your other Black win is also amusing for different reasons

I will admit to being a bit of a douchebag in that game but it seemed like a freeroll and he eventually messed up.

I got extremely lucky to get 2 such active players in both matches tho, also I think these 3-day matches are really helping with my calculation skills which has previously been probably my biggest weakness.

How do you know when its your turn to move? Is there down time and if so what about the hiatus ?

There's an alert that comes up when it's your move, I believe you can adjust your settings and get sent an email every time it's your move but given that I started 100 games at the same time I decided to forgo that option.

I don't really understand your other question, tbh it would be easier for you to go onto chess.com and start some games and find out for yourself

There is vacation time if you need to use it. Just download the app on your phone and you can make your moves at any point in the day.

Thanx, 100 games ; no worries about the "hiatus" here.

not looking good for my 100% record for 2+2, I'm totally lost as White and floundering as Black against the Active Players. I think I'm better in both games against the Philippines though.

My winning streak was already broken by the active players . I did score 1.5-.5 at least, though, so I believe I'm still unbeaten since I started trying to help (7-0-1). Yes, a brag, since who knows if I will get to do it again ever, ldo.

Also think I'm better vs. Philippines in both games but it looks like we should do okay in that match anyway if no one else times out both of their games .

I'm not doing well in either of my Greek matches, but I'm fairly certain my game (with white pieces) is won against the Filipino girl (ruthlessqueen) who is 116 points my superior. Pretty sure I just systematically outplayed her all game and I just delivered a rather fatal blow to her chances. I think it was one of my most patient games I've played. Which isn't saying much.

I think she was the one who gave you a BJ

That's a solid brag about beating a higher rated girl! I wish it had ever happened to me (wins by time forfeit don't count).

Just lost a Greek match. Ended up with a decently long fight before being in a resign position. Computer says he made 2 blunders early which would have led to much sooner win for zelinis. How do u post links on Android phone??

Won against Filipino girl much better than me. Computer said I had 1 inaccuracy in 34 moves and she had no mistakes or blunders either. This was the first game I think where I actively tried to keep my bishop pair and remove hers.

I knew her knight was trapped for a trade at best on g4 for a while but I was being patient since she didn't have any real moves anyway. I ended up winning the exchange.

c.com's analysis blows -- she made a number of significant mistakes.

Hmm, I'm not so sure any longer if ruthlessqueen is a girl... Wikipedia lists mostly males among those who have the name 'Junie', and RQ's avatar is way too beautiful to be their real portrait anyway.

I mean, I present myself as a girl at PKR.com (a small ROW poker site with 3D avatars), but this doesn't make me a total girl, does it?

Hey guys I'm a detective.

That doesn't look like a 50-year-old to me, so yeah that picture is unlikely to be them, although I originally thought that anyway. GIS turns up predominantly women when you search Junie, so I wouldn't be too skeptical of their presented gender, however.

I checked fb for that name and a pic of a dude came up with like 4 kids and no woman in sight. Though she could have been taking the photo.

I want to believe.
