Let's suppose u roll and u are force to play either a dice or the other; do u have the option to play the dice u want, or u have to play the biggest of the 2 dices.

If U dont got my question...here is an exemple where u can make a picture.

All ur stone are on ur point 1, except for one on the bar. U need to roll a 1 or 5 to exit. U roll 5-1. Are u force to go on the 5 or u can go where u want cuz which ever u play u cant play the other dice ?
