Howdy from An Aussie fella

Newbie here was wondering anyone have any good backgammon sites can share please.

As i use to play on Face-book but last 2 weeks thing will not load.

Try SafeHarborGames, GridGammon, or FIBS. GridGammon is generally acknowledged to have the strongest players, including many of the world’s best, but signing up can be a hassle. A caveat: at SafeHarborGames, be sure you play only in the “rooms” that have regular dice. You’ll see the warnings when you get there. FIBS is the oldest backgammon server, and it still one of the most popular. Lastly, wagering online is not a good idea. All too often, your opponent will be getting help from a bot!

Phill - which game on Facebook are you having problems with? I play Backgammon Live on FB - thousands of players, one of the better interfaces I've seen, and on the higher value tables, some pretty darn good players.

Bgroom.com is pretty good too, but as Mike pointed out, play in the rooms in which they refer to as "practice mode" - avoid the real money games, which I think can be said of any online backgammon site.
