I dont see why its unreasonable to ask why Gods playing hide and seek and only uncloaking to some. It really makes no sense. You figure if God wanted to talk to humans and give us important info he would do it in an undeniable no misunderstanding way.

That doesn't precisely follow from what I said but obviously free will has to be drawn pretty finely given that God knows what choices you will make.

On a random note, I do find Christians baffling.

I have no idea how you get from "The universe has an intelligent creator" to "I communicate and have a personal relationship with him, and this book details what he wants from us".
