Conservapedia apparently believes the Bible is too liberal. They don't like this and have an simple solution... Rewrite the Bible.

I love this. Forget quote mining. Forget spin. Just rewrite it. Of course, there is precedent, Book of Mormon.

It says they're using the King James Bible as the starting point, and retranslating into modern English. So it's a translation of a translation. Don't they have any Greek/Hebrew scholars available for the project so they can go back to the original texts, at least? Or do they think God was speaking directly to King James when the KJV was written, and the older texts are no longer valid sources?
