The problem is the modding. Whereas on say the Chess forum posters who hate chess and go on there to attack chess playing will be removed as troublemakers on here posters who hate religion are accommodated. The thinking of the mods is extremely flawed in this respect.

No you don't understand. What part of God's teachings do atheists agree with ? People who hate chess hate all of it and people who don't believe in the Bible/Koran etc don't believe in any of it.

There is no reason that atheists can't discuss religion. Religion affects us all, even the atheists. It impacts history, philosophy, politics, ethics, among other things I'm sure.

Besides rizeagainst or whatever his name was, the atheists here do not seem to be here for the purpose of mocking and offending. Bad posters, theist or atheist, get universally mocked and offended by both theists and atheists. The rest of us are just here to have real discussions and learn from each other.

In the end, this forum isn't going to change for you. It's a place where everyone can discuss all aspects of religion. If that's not what you want, then go elsewhere to a forum that will serve your needs. No one will be upset when you go.

I am not religious I just don't like immoral atheists having a pop at religious people who subscribe to a sound set of moral and ethical values which for the most part I agree with myself.

You find it in most religions eg in Jainism we are told to :-

"Limit possessions and lead a life that is useful to yourself and others. Owning an object by itself is not possessiveness; however, attachment to an object is possessiveness. Non-possessiveness is the balancing of needs and desires while staying detached from our possessions."

Translated to modern life that means don't be a useless idle loafer, don't buy a lot of stuff you don't need and don't form an attachment to your possessions. Us morals find it easy.
