Which religions, denominations, or sects are the most obviously man-made to you? With falsified revelations from god, or deceptive or manipulative doctrines, or false "divinely inspired by god" writings.

In general it is inversely proportional to the recency. Religions that develop in our lifetimes or the near past we usually have a large amount of historicity for, religions from the ancient past like Christianity we have very very little historicity for. For example, mormonism we have a **** tonne of evidence about US history, so it is easy to see how those claims are false.

Personally I like the cargo cults like the John Frum religion

All of them. But I give a little more of a pass for religions pre-1500 or so, when the human conception of the universe was quite different. Scientology, Mormonism, Seventh Day Adventism... these are popular cults at best.

The pope is only infallible on matters of faith. I think you said this trying to point out something contradictory in the Catholic Church, but it's not inconsistent. On another note, I think it makes sense that the most knowledgeable people about the religion elect a leader from among themselves.

Are there similarities between the Mormon story of the Angel Moroni and the golden plates, and the bible story of Moses and the stone tablets?
The Angel Moroni is an angel that Joseph Smith, Jr. said visited him on numerous occasions, beginning on September 21, 1823. According to Smith, the angel was the guardian of the golden plates, which Latter Day Saints believe were the source material for the Book of Mormon, buried in a hill near his home in western New York. Moroni is an important figure in the theology of the Latter Day Saint movement, and is featured prominently in Mormon architecture and art. Three Witnesses besides Joseph Smith also reported that they saw Moroni in visions in 1829, as did several other witnesses who each said they had their own vision.
The stone tablets and the golden plates are no longer available for inspection.

Christianity. The "test" we have to pass to get into heaven (belief) is not consistent with the attributes that God supposedly has (loving all of humanity). But it perfectly preys on wishful thinking of humans, by offering them something they really, really want (to not have to die) and making the "price" for it really low (no more having to give up behaviors that you really don't want to give up).

I'm pretty confident Atheism was created by humans and that is becoming a religion in it's own messed up way.

But seriously, in terms of mainstream religions both scientology and mormonism are pretty far out there. The raelians are a pretty wacky bunch too.
